Gratitude.

No matter what life is providing, whether it be mountains or valleys, gratitude is key.

The Lord is the maker of both the mountain and the valley anyway, He holds it all together.

Humans are the pinnacle of His creation, somehow, even in all our jacked up ways. He holds us.

His loving kindness and faithfulness will always remain true.

Life is a short ride. Make it count.

Even when you’re scared, make it count.

@visslasurf cosmic creek series hosted by @atlanticparksurf was a blast 💥

made new friends, surfed with some legends, and got to try really fast boards from the 70s and 80s. I made 2 heats and picked twin fins for each.

POV: you wrote a short collection of writings to help people draw near to Jesus each day.

BACKSTORY

The life of Jesus has always intrigued me and so have his words. This devotional is built upon the words of Jesus. You will read through seven portions of scripture with some insight I have provided.

This less of a study and more applicable to followers of Jesus.

I selected scriptures that have made an impact on me throughout my spiritual life.

This is for the body of Christ and also anyone who is curious about Jesus and is too intimidated to pick up a Bible, which I highly suggest. Why? It changed the course of my life. Scripture is where Jesus revealed himself to me. Though he’s not limited to scripture, He met me in the@pages of the accounts of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. I won my very first contest ever as a preteen right here at this same park.

Nearly 20 years later I was competing on the same grounds on a completely new / updated ramp.

I enjoy skateboarding, with all its ups and downs and aches and pains. It has taught me a lot, rather God has taught me a lot through it.

I earned 6th place in this contest. To me it was never about 1st for me. It was simply landing this trick and using the energy of the crowd to get me there. I have skated with some of the best in the world and grateful for the skate community.
