It was like a Black Hollywood family reunion/bbq at the @naacpimageawards last night! 2025….My biggest heartache and painful moment was my parents losing their home of 55 years and my childhood home in the Altadena Fire (not posting any photos of that memory)…My greatest moments were everything else. I celebrated my 50th birthday with family and friends at the best “House Party” ever and my amazing husband @officialmichaeljai took me on a beautiful vacation to the DR. I had a great recurring role as a detective on Season 6 of The Family Business and had 3 movies come out, action comedy Trouble Man, Christmas action comedy Dashing Through The Snow and psychological horror Somnium. I also filmed an amazing guest star role on a hit tv show that is not out yet so I can’t mention it yet! I celebrated my 10th wedding anniversary in Montreal and I flew to Italy while my husband filmed Why Did I Get Married 3. We took an adventurous & beautiful train trip to Zurich, Switzerland. I had my share of press and premieres, red carpets, meeting new folks and traveling. I got to kick ass while filming action shorts with my husband and Scott Adkins and our dope team @artschooldropouts. Our 17 year old got her drivers license and car which took a lot of driving off of me! 🙏🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 My husband and I made moves towards our future with our home and our brands and I spent quality time with family and friends. I ate clean, trained hard and took care of my temple. 💪🏾I ended the year with holiday celebrations and surgery but I’m healing and well. This year flew by but I can’t be more grateful…for every moment, every second…I’m blessed, I’m healthy, I’m happy and I’m loved…so loved…and for that I live in gratitude. I can’t believe I’m going to be 51 in a couple weeks….I still feel like I’m 31!!! 🤣2026…Lesssssssgoooooo! Netflix’s Animals red carpet premiere last night! This movie is great y’all…check it out October 9th!
