“HEALED HEART broken mind” is the color green, like growth, street signs, salt & lime, and a brand new life. it represents the sting of a fresh start after ripping off the bandaid, kissing someone new, waking up on a stranger’s couch, losing and loving and looking yourself in the eye. the difference between what you know is good for you and what you actually do. finding yourself in the aftermath and thinking, “what have I done?!” all true stories.  these songs spilled out during a time i actually blew up my life. everything; my apartment, my health, the people i saw everyday, my perception of love, who i thought i was, all changed. it was uncomfortable and disorienting, but staying where i was forever scared me way more. looking back it’s so funny how down bad i was. i hope this finds you wherever you are and reminds you that everything is temporary… which is terrifying, but that also means the bad stuff is too. when all else fails, scream at the sky every now and then. it helps!
