I loved making this doll so much. Should I do more horns in the wig caps? Is this my sign to do way more “jellyfish” cuts?!

Rune, Bub, mom and I are all so excited for @moderndollcollectorsconvention this weekend in Indianapolis! I’ve never been, does anyone have fun recommendations? (I had momentary dreams of a Colts pre-season game but it conflicts with the show!)

This special set of just 20 Runes includes;
*her “Evil Eye” tank top,
*dark cut-off shorts, sunglasses (new sculpt),
*her straw witch hat (new sculpt),
*her hiking boots (new sculpt),
*a comfy “grampa” sweater (courtesy of my incredible mom who even knit ‘holes’ into the sweaters so they look perfectly imperfect),
*Bub companion (new sculpt),
*embroidered backpack with plant samples,
*hand-made leather bound journal with Rune’s plant notes,
*and a Glowmoon Doll case

10 out of the 20 sold in pre-order (thank you to everyone who took a chance when they’d just seen my drawings!) so get her while you can at the show!

I can’t wait to give a little talk about the making of and show some of our process. This set was a labor of love!! Mom and I started working on this as early as January getting all these little pieces together and we’re so excited to finally relax and enjoy the weekend.

If you’re coming to Modern Doll please come by to see me at our table! I’ve never been to this show and am looking forward to seeing all the incredible work and meeting other doll collectors 💖

I’m so excited to post Rune in her full set! This was a special edition for Modern Doll ‘26, fitting in with their theme “Artists, Authors and Adventurers”. Mom, myself and our dolls will be in Indianapolis next week!!

Bub and Rune are on a hike in the mountains east of Seattle collecting plants and finding inspiration. Bub is a reluctant companion on this journey as he is concerned this is secretly exercise.

Rune comes with what you see here; a hand-knit sweater, hiking boots, a special witch hat, a backpack with her journal and Bub.

Do you see the holes knit into the sweater? My mom based this pattern on Kurt Cobain’s grungy sweaters, which is perfect for Rune who loves Nirvana.
