The Essence of Duality

Art & Psychology

For me, psychology and art are intrinsically related; they influence one another in a way that opens the doors for expression, self-discovery, and healing.

‘Duality’ was a transitory project in that I experienced a metamorphosis in artistic philosophy and perspective of the human experience. The themes in ‘Duality’ are of personal experiences that have carried profound weight in my development, and I believe are part of a greater sum that I have felt play out in almost regular intervals. Further, I believe this is the basis of where we come from, where we are, and where we’re headed.

‘Duality’ is a story of the movement through these themes and experiences, populated by archetypal characters close to and are a part of me.

“Even with the in-your-face style, I feel that this music is also intelligent, especially lyrically, and I feel like it is taking us on a journey within ourselves and within our social constructs.”

Hugely honored by The PROG Mind’s full review of Duality! The full and in-depth review of the album is available to read, link in bio

This review was an exciting read for me, as the album is mainly electronic and outside the usual scope of prog rock/metal although heavily inspired by the sound- kinda like jam and jelly; same flavor, different composition- and wasn’t sure how it would be received! Stoked everyone’s enjoying it so far. 🤘

Thank you so much everyone for listening, just getting started.

hey

thanks for being patient with me getting some new original music out- funny thing is I’ve been working on over 4+ albums worth of new material. the album that’s getting the most love right now is my favorite story, and collection of music I’ve written so far.

this next record hits home in a way that has been vulnerable and ultimately liberating.

as you know I also lend my ear to other projects; I am grateful to say my ear(s) have been busy helping others see their projects to the end too.

ive simultaneously been working on LOADS of new sounds for you artist/producer/sound designer types. many many cool new things on the horizon, and a new phase.

im also moving to Nashville in August

and the “Making of Duality” series is in production. mannn I’ve been itching to talk about that album’s inception.

ok that’s all for now. new music is very soon. hope you’re well by @iamimaginate
