Glo Forward was an incredible empowerment brunch for ages 13-22, and I’m still in awe of the energy and inspiration in the room! 🌟 While there are too many to shout out, I want to acknowledge some of the amazing groups in attendance: Piedmont Classical Cheer, WSSU Rams, Bennett Belles, NCA&T Aggies, and James B. Dudley High School.

A special thank you to my title sponsor, Procter & Gamble, for your incredible support and belief in this vision. 💛 And to Danielle Brown
of Socially Desirable, who created this fiery reel that perfectly captures the vibe of the day—you truly outdid yourself! 🔥

To the best board of directors, facilitators, volunteers, participants, and sponsors—you all made this event possible, and I’m so full of gratitude!

Stay tuned—more pics and the vid reel to follow! 🎥✨ #GloForward #EmpowermentBrunch #BuildingLeaders #SociallyDesirable #GratefulHeart Lou Chavis *I don’t own the rights to this music #GloForward24 @beauty4ashesinternational @beauty4ashesinternational #wssu #bennettcollege #jamesbdudleyhigh #ncat by @iamjackiecjohnson

Thank you to the amazing @publiclychenadra (Chenadra Washington )for giving voice to many female leaders that graduated from HBCUs. I’m honored to be one of many women featured in Her Voice HBCU magazine. As a proud graduate of not one, but two amazing HBCUs—Bennett College and North Carolina A&T State University—I stand as a testament to the power of these institutions to produce successful, driven, and impactful leaders. HBCUs continue to shape excellence, and I’m grateful to be a part of that legacy.
