I’m God Sent🦋

Being the CHOSEN ONE it’s always easy but It means God trusted you with the assignment he has put on your life. So I stopped running from it and I EMBRACE IT.

Every Doubter, Every Tear, Every Sacrifice, Every Long Night, Every Question, Every Lost was worth this milestone.

To my parents: your sacrifices are the reason I stand here today. my strength, my resilience, my drive, my love, and my heart is because of you. I am your blessing, and I don’t take that lightly. 💐

To my younger self: Mia baby girl, you did it. I know you felt alone sometimes. But look at you now. Every tear watered something beautiful inside and out. Continue to keep God first, and keep becoming everything you prayed for.

To the Alpha Chi Chapter;
Thank you for being my foundation, my inspiration, and my motivation to become a true Delta Woman. The history, the confidence-building, and the commitment to sisterhood while making a difference will always hold a special place in my heart. I will forever be grateful for all the lessons, support, and guidance you’ve provided. This chapter will always be my home. 🦋

To the 65:
Thank you for everything; the lessons, advice, support, and most of all, our bond. I never imagined being surrounded by 64 headstrong, high-personality, educated women until I met y’all. Each of you has impacted my life in ways you may never realize. I hope our sisterhood keeps growing despite the distance. Thank you for making these last two years unforgettable. My love for the game never changed just my role.

I arrived at college as a freshman, feeling lost and searching for my true purpose in life after I stopped playing the sport I love. Working with the athletic department helped me realize that athletic training wasn’t for me. My purpose is to make a positive impact on everyone I meet. After much prayer and internships, I’ve decided that my place in the sports industry is as a player development coach and personal trainer.

To the HPSS Department :

Thank you for giving me hope and helping me redefine my life’s purpose. You’ve provided me with timeless opportunities to build lifelong networking connections in the sports industry, paving the way for a career that aligns with my passions. Thank you, classmates, for sharing your enthusiasm and dedication. Your support has pushed me beyond my limits and made us lifelong friends. The HPSS department truly stands out as the best on the entire campus!

To my former basketball coaches:
Thank you for teaching me everything about the game. Thank you for allowing me to return to my former middle and high schools and help coach the younger girls. I will always cherish the mentorship you all have given me. Forever #2 / #flamethrower
