Dear Hairspray Cast of Broadway at Music Circus 2026,

I’ve been trying to find the right words to say goodbye to this production, and honestly, I’m not sure there are enough of them.

There are productions you do, productions you remember, and productions that change you.

This one changed me.

This company showed me what camaraderie in theatre looks like. What happens when artists put their egos aside, trust one another, and come together for something bigger than themselves.

It reminded me that talent is only one part of what makes an artist great. It’s how you show up. The passion you bring into the room. The way you treat people. The way you make people feel.

Because eventually, the work ends. The costumes come off. The lights go down.

But the way you showed up will precede you.

I learned something valuable from every single person in this company, and I was surrounded by some of the most talented/accomplished performers, artists, entrepreneurs, and multi-hyphenated human beings I’ve ever met. I will never take that for granted.

To Robbie Roby — thank you for your leadership, your direction, and for creating a space where I felt trusted to bring myself to the work.

To @scottklier @sacmusicals — thank you for believing in this company and giving us a space to create something truly special.

And to this company: thank you for embracing me as your Seaweed. Thank you for giving me the freedom to create, the trust to make choices, and the space to discover this boy for myself.

I got to bring my whole damn self to this role — and you made that feel safe.

That is a gift.

I’ve left Sacramento with so much gratitude — for the stage, the audiences, the laughter, the sweat, the chaos, the backstage jokes, the friendships, and the moments that only we will ever understand.

Thank you for reminding me why I love this thing called theatre.

And thank you for letting Seaweed J. Stubbs live through me for a little while.

I love and respect you all more than this caption could ever hold.

OPENING NIGHT. 💚

Still taking this one in.

There are experiences in this career that mean more than you can fully put into words, and this has been one of them.

Getting to step into Seaweed’s converses again, surrounded by such an incredibly talented, generous, and experienced company, has been a gift. I’ve learned so much already—not only as a performer, but as an artist and as a person. Every rehearsal, every performance, every conversation, and every moment in between has reminded me why I love this work so deeply.

And then there’s the love and support.

@alishareneejohnson , @_samantha.jacobson_ & @lisfabgal To my friends, chosen family, and community who showed up for me — traveled, came to the theater, brought flowers, cheered, celebrated, and reminded me that I am never doing this alone: thank you. Your presence meant more to me than you know. ❤️

I’m also incredibly grateful to our creative team for trusting me with this role and creating a space where I can continue to grow. Thank you to @roby_robbie, @sacmusicals , @scottklier and everyone who has poured their time, talent, and heart into bringing this production to life.

Standing on that stage, hearing that audience, and sharing that moment with these incredible artists is something I’ll carry with me for a lifetime. There’s something indescribable about looking out into that audience and realizing you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be. 🥹

I’m grateful. I’m full. And I’m ready for the rest of this journey, because we’re just getting started!

15 years ago, I met my best friend — my ride or die, my person.

From prom, to turning 30 together, we’ve grown, laughed, cried, fallen, and always picked each other back up.

Thank you for your love, your support, and for never giving up on me. From DeLand, FL → Jacksonville, FL → Tallahassee, FL → Orlando, FL → New York City, and every place in-between, you’ve stuck by my side through it all.
