Cuz soul food is meant to be shared. This was the first bass line I learned when I picked up bass in Nov. 2024 - I return to it often. It comforts my soul. I received some ✨ new follower cousins ✨ recently, so I wanted to reintroduce myself.

Hi - My name is Kerrin, pronounced like Corinne.

You’re finding me after I’ve dealt with a decade of silent torment trying my damnedest to conform into something I thought I needed to be for other people.

I came to a painful point where I no longer knew who I was. I had lost myself.

So after divine prompting:
I took a mental health retreat, got off social media for two years, got deeper in my word, and was intentional about community building IRL.

Then the bass found me and it changed the game!
I love it and what it’s bringing out in me.

I’m excited to see new follower-fam who are highly artistic! I believe good trouble always happens when creatives are near. So welcome cousins 🫶🏾✨

This is a place of process not perfection, so enjoy and celebrate with me as WE endeavor in creating.

The opportunity to practice patience will find you 😅 I’ve come to the point where it’s no longer sustainable for my wellness and artwork to move at light speed, continually burning the candle at both ends. In my process of unlearning overachievement, my children regularly help (challenge) me to be stiller, softer, and more present by waiting and listening.
