3/4/24 It’s been 1 year since you passed away! A lot of you don’t know but last year on this day Chef Max was doing his normal Monday routine! He had been to the eastern market, cutters, celebrity, and the last stop was Z’s Villa! There he wanted to go to “Meatloaf Monday”, he was accompanied by his godfather! They ordered, talked , laughed, and when they looked over he was not laughing anymore in an upright position head hanging over! He had suffered a massive heart attack…EMS was called the bartender and owner tried to revive him , ambulance got there in less than 2 minutes but there was nothing MAN could do! He died doing what he loved , patronizing, having a cocktails , laughing!! (Only you would die on Meatloaf Monday🤣) I get the call and rush to receiving hospital because I thought that would bring me closure, but to my surprise there you laid … still warm looking like a bouncing baby boy!! Just as handsome looking the most peaceful I had ever seen you, resting , stress free, worry free, my angel!! That day you took a piece of me with you! I went back to the lobby it was jammed packed, Pastor Kinloch, family, friends, just like you would have wanted it!! It has been a long road and not 1 day has been the same without you! We miss you and we love you!! Never worried about where you ended up because we all know all dogs go to heaven‼️ in 40 yrs you made an impact that will forever change culinary art, until we meet again hug our loved ones XOXO!! In honor of you we will celebrate your life today which happens to be Fat Tuesday, how ironic is that Chef💜💜💜 🤣 Yesterday we went to Z’s Villa to thank the owner and bartender for doing all they could do to try to save you, thanks for being a humanitarian , my hero💜🙌🏼‼️ Rest peacefully my brother !!#MyBrothersKeeper #MadeWithLove #ToTheMax🍴 #MarchForth by @iamkimday
