People always tell me, “You make raising four kids solo look so easy.” Let me be the first to tell you: IT IS NOT !

Life is entirely about perspective.
When hardships hit, you face a defining choice: Will you choose to be a victim, or will you choose to be a survivor?

Back in 2018, I hit a breaking point.
I was completely drained from relying on my kids’ father for financial support he never could deliver.
Every broken promise felt like reopening an old wound.
Wiping my tears that day, I vowed to myself: I would never give anyone the power to control my peace or my future again.
I would build a life where I didn’t have to depend on a single soul.

See truth is, I’ve been operating in survival mode for years. I am strong because I had to be.
I am the PLAN & the back up plan, without me, the ship sinks! By the grace of God and my village, my kids never felt the struggle.

During those heavy years, I remember seeing a post on tik tok about a solo mom of 8, living in shelter who passed the bar EXAM & who completely turned her life around. & I thought to myself if she could do it, so could I.

And today, I stand: A MASTERS DEGREE GRADUATE 🎓✨

Accountability has taken me way further than derelict ever could.

Cheers to stepping OUT OF SURVIVAL MODE!
My nervous system has regulated, my PH is balanced, life is beautiful and I declare Im walking into the calmest, highest & fruitful version of myself.

MASTERED IT!! 🎓💼 I’ve now joined the 11% of Black women in America who hold a Master’s degree! 🥂

I’ve put in an immense amount of hard work to be the ultimate MASTER of balance. Raising four beautiful children solo while navigating school, full-time job, full-time business owner & full-time care-giver took discipline, late nights, and a whole lot of sacrifice. But by God’s grace and mercy, we made it to the finish line.

Cheers to building a legacy and being another degree hotter! 🔥✨
