The labor that we prayed for 💗
Part 2: Faith-led

But God—HE was in our story.
He was there when we prayed for a child, and He sent her in no time.
He was there when we asked for a healthy pregnancy, and He blessed us with the most joyful one.
He was there when people questioned our Faith-led choices, and with discernment, He guided us—unwavering and Spirit-filled.
He was there in every question, doubt, fear, and decision—filling us with clarity and inner trust.
He was there, listening and leading every prayer and declaration we made over our labor for 9 months.
He was there when my waters broke before contractions, and time was running out—through the hands of our delivery partners, filling them with patience and certainty.

But oh, HE WAS THERE—in that very room where our daughter was born.
Fulfilling every promise our hearts longed for.
Meeting our doubts with faith.
Covering our fears with Light and Love.
And when I saw our baby so gracefully emerge from the waters, I saw Him there with us too.

For 9 months, I longed to experience labor as the raw, powerful, and supernatural event God intended. I envisioned an unmedicated, drug-free, vaginal birth—with no complications and a healthy baby who cried from the water and nursed with ease. I visualized every detail—from the lighting to the timing, the position, heartbeat, and even the postpartum journey.
And God did not fail us.

Labor was HARD. Not easy, short, or always pretty—but it was EVERYTHING we prayed for and more.
Our faith was tested. But God delivered every prayer, with messages woven in between the lines.
Reading my first trimester prayers now still brings chills. We had the birth of our dreams.
It was Supernatural.

My husband asked if I felt “empowered” giving birth this way—but honestly, it just felt right.
The most natural and supernatural thing I’ve ever done.

And just like that, after an intense but Faith-led labor, our daughter Grace was born—
and so were we, as mom and dad.

Thank you God. Thank you Jesus.
And thank you to everyone who stood with us in that room.

Life is a miracle. by @iammariafraile

The labor that we prayed for💗- Part 1/ Our delivery partners

Before we even got pregnant, I heard about a new Birthing Center opening near our home, @ourbirthingcenter . When we found out we were expecting our baby girl, we toured it and met @midwivesofnj

From that moment, I knew in my heart I had to deliver there, in that very first room overlooking the Hudson, with the midwives.

Throughout the pregnancy, I met each of them, and with every visit, I saw they were not just skilled and passionate professionals—they were INCREDIBLE HUMAN BEINGS. They truly cared to know us individually and supported us in bringing our baby into the world in the way we deeply desired.

Our dreamed labor wouldn't have happened without them.

Special thanks to Lisa, who felt like family to Juan and me from the start, and Christina, who caught our baby and gently brought her into my arms.

Our doula @thelivingwomb was wisdom, grace, and patience embodied. She held space for us even when we were close to losing faith. Her energy fueled and renewed our strength.

And THE partner of them all, my husband @jd_ader was pure strength and unwavering faith from the moment we learned we were expecting. He supported every decision, made them his own, never missed an appointment, and prayed over us when I struggled with Faith. He stood so firm in Love and Truth that fear never got a chance in. He’s not only the perfect partner for our birth, but for our family, for life💗 by @iammariafraile

The best day of our lives💗
Last Monday our precious little daughter came into the world and even though we had never met before, our souls already loved each other without measure. We knew your name and who you were before God knitted you in my womb. You were always meant to be ours, baby girl.

Grateful to God for trusting us with the best job in the world, becoming your parents.

Thank you, 2025. Forever the best year of my life. by @iammariafraile

Happy Birthday to my Anaelle 🤍

From London to NYC, distance has never changed what you are to me — one of the truest, inspiring and most genuine souls I've ever met.

You came into my world in the summer of 2020, right in the middle of all the chaos, and somehow became the partner and friend I never expected but always needed. Even though we seemed different at first, our connection was instant — you listened, supported, inspired, and helped shape so much of who I’ve become. We’ve laughed, cried, learned, worked, and created the most special memories together.
And you came to share my last few days before I became a mom together — and that meant more than you know.

Your heart is pure gold. You strive for the best for yourself and everyone around you, and you spread goodness everywhere you go. No matter how many miles there are between us, you’ve always been my partner in crime for life.

Happy Birthday, my louloute. Here’s to more memories, more laughter, and a lifetime of friendship across continents (for now).

I love you🤍 by @iammariafraile

Halfway to 1 for our baby Grace 🥹💗
Throwback to my favorite day (last pic) ➡️
I still can’t believe it’s been 6 months since I first held you—since your tiny breath met my chest and my heart learned a new kind of love.

Holding you, learning you, loving you… your first breath didn’t just change my world — it awakened something sacred in me. You turned me into my truest purpose, the place where love and grace meet: Being your mama✨🤍

Thank you my baby, forever growing together💗 by @iammariafraile

I can't believe it has been 365 days since those 2 red lines at 4 am , that positive pregnancy test on the kitchen counter, the day you choose us to become parents, the day God choose me to carry the most magical gift, the miracle of life. One whole year since I became your mom and there is nothing in this world I wouldn't do for you. You turned me into a MOTHER and with that, you unlocked the best years of my life.
I love you my baby. by @iammariafraile

Happy 30th to the sister I never had and the person I could never get enough off in a million years of lifetime.

The gift to the world in a human form that not many get to meet, but if you do, you're a LUCKY one.

As I told you once @salty.cravings I want you to know that you have inspired me everyday to become a better version of myself. Not only you have introduced me to the best places and hobbies but have filled me with love in EVERY single moment I needed it, even when I didn't even know it.

Your genuine kindness and love towards others is something SUPERNATURAL and divine that shines bright on its own. Never let anyone say it's naive, bc there is nothing more brave than wearing your heart on your sleeve and always offering a helping hand with a smile. The world just need more Yins. I thank God everyday I found the only one there is on Earth and get to call her my best friend.

I don't get to be there today for your big 30s, but I'm in soul and spirit, looking forward to the day when we get to see each other again, we love you forever🤍

Happy 30th🎂 by @iammariafraile
