POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

@forbes It’s official. 🙌🏽
From foster homes…. to being featured in Forbes. 🔥

But this isn’t just a feature.
This is redemption.
This is for every time I cried myself to sleep in silence.
Not because I was weak,
But because I had no choice but to be strong.

I’ve been moved around, left behind, overlooked, and underestimated more times than I can count.
I know what it feels like to grow up in the system, wondering if you’ll ever feel safe.
If you’ll ever belong.
If you’ll ever be chosen for something good.

And now… here I am.
Not because life was kind to me, but because I never stopped fighting.
Because I let the Most High take the broken pieces of my past… and turn them into purpose.

I built MNR Catering from the ground up.
No investors. No handouts.
Just faith, fire, and the kind of work ethic only survival teaches you.

My story isn’t about luck.
It’s about grace, grit, and grinding when no one was watching.

I turned my pain into flavour.
My losses into recipes.
And my kitchen into a mission field.

Every dish I serve carries my story.
Every booking is a reminder: I’m not who they said I’d be.

My son, he’s my heartbeat. 💙
Every 18-hour day, every late-night booking, every “yes” when quitting would’ve been easier… is for him.

And for every girl who was told she wouldn’t amount to anything…
This moment is proof:
Your story isn’t over.
You don’t need to be chosen.
You just need to choose yourself.

🙏🏽 Thank you @pauleannareid for believing in this story and holding space for it with so much care.

💼 And to every client, every supporter, and everyone who’s ever tasted my food, you’re part of this legacy.

This isn’t just a milestone.
This is my offering.
This is a flag in the ground for faith, freedom, and women like me who refuse to fold.

One of the hardest things I’ve done in my life was keeping my storefront hidden from everyone! The amount a lie mi tell ta-rawtidd lol 😂 - it feels good to be open about it now … 🙌🏽

I can’t believe it’s been over a year 🎉 my idea became a reality! God is good! 📌

One of my employees found this spot for us @mnrcatering - I was cooking out of my home and the business started growing rapidly! My kitchen in my home 🏠 couldn’t keep up! I went through 2 stoves because the orders were flocking in … I desperately needed a commercial kitchen! Sleepless nights occurred religiously!

I contacted my Graphic Designer @trulyelevatedagency & told her I secured a location & I need her help! She always comes clutch! 👌🏽 the mocks ups were fantastic! 👏🏽

I did not waste NOO timeee! To put the signs up lol 😂 but it was frikken HARD! Not even my man knew. He knows now lol 😂 bcuz me always going to the shop turned into me …. I’ll save that for a different day!

Being an Entrepreneur is not for the weak! I am built differently.

I am not a product of my environment and I am going to teach the generations coming up that it is possible! Especially if you come from a FUCKED UP PAST!

If I can do it so can you! My goal is to inspire someone to believe in themself & to love themself 🙏🏽❤️

Set your notifications 📣 I’ll be airing out everything!

I hope you can learn from my journey! God bless you! 🤍
