Dearest Conjurers!! The YOGA of SUSTAINABILITY & BELONGING | A 200 HR Yoga Teacher Training at Conjure Yoga & Ritual is now accepting applications for our first cohort of teachers-to-be! While our studio has only been open for a year and a half, our staff has been teaching practitioners how to be yoga teachers for a loooooooong time… (It’s a whole different skill than teaching yoga to a class of students!) This course is so unique, so deep, and so thoroughly steeped in our mission… aka CONJURE CORE! 🙌💚🦉 We are thrilled to share it with the world. We’ve got all the details in this set of slides as well as on our website. We are delighted to say that half of the spots have already been scooped up by folks in our community. If you are interested, even a little, we encourage you to explore the details & the application! You can also reach out to Alison here with any questions. Yoga as a tool for healing and social justice is near and dear to my heart. While yoga is for everybody, most classes offered in Atlanta are available on the North and East sides of the city. You shouldn’t have to leave your community to reap the benefits of yoga — cultivating awareness, regulating the nervous system, and more. Thank you to @givebackyoga @gaiam for supporting our work at @justflowellness to meet people where they are with affirming and accessible yoga, and allowing us to continue popping up in third spaces across Southwest Atlanta. Now, with more mats in hand. 🙏🏾 by @iammissygoss
We are so excited to have @iammissygoss join our Sati family 💚 A yoga practitioner for almost 20 years, Missy Goss-Coln (she/her) is a 200-hour registered yoga teacher and certified meditation teacher with training spanning trauma-informed and accessible yoga to mental health and healing justice. Yoga offered Missy healing and liberation throughout her journey from high-pressure Corporate America and business school to non-profit work. Centering agency and accessibility, Missy’s classes are designed to meet you where you are and offer variations for practitioners to exercise their right to choose what feels right, in the moment. She holds space for students to slow down, nurture mind-body-spirit connection, and cultivate embodied awareness – impacting how we show up off the yoga mat. You can find Missy covering for Jenn on Tuesdays & Thursdays for Hatha (Gentle) Yoga at 8:30 am. See you on the mat 🧘🏽‍♀️🧘🏻🧘🏻‍♂️ #yoga #yogacommunity #weloveourteachers #satiyogaatl #kirkwoodyogastudio by @iammissygoss
