Several years ago I tried to get rid of the hollyhocks as they had some kind of infection. Turns out you can't get rid of hollyhocks and they have grown in the gravel in the alley ever since. I hadn't been to Edmonton for several years so we went up this week specifically so I could go to the Muttart Conservatory. It was a nice little trip away, stayed in a hotel and went for a nice dinner and visited the conservatory today. The conservatory is fantastic. If you get a chance to see it - go, it's really worth a visit. Anyone know how to remove a poll? Looking at this I have a poll added and I don't want it! My peonies - in order of blooming. Wind Chimes, Silver Dawn, Westerner, Cora Louise, unknown pink variety that won't die., Cora Stubbs, White Cap (bare root planted last fall). Still to open is Krinkled White which is taking its time this year and Gay Paree which has been moved too often to do much.
