FAQs | Hi loves! 🥰 I get a lot of the same questions, so I just decided to answer them all in one or two post. Hope this helps! 💕

⁉️: Do you have Sisterlocks or Microlocs or my favorite “what are those braids called?” lmao
💡: I have Sisterlocks. The main difference between Sisterlocks and Microlocs is that Sisterlocks are trademarked and have a specific grid pattern and interlocking techniques. Only locticians who have taken the Sisterlock class can/ should do Sisterlocks. There is a directory on Sisterlocks.com if you would like to find someone in your area.

⁉️: How many Locs do you have? Or what size do you have?
💡: I have around 450 Locs. With the Sisterlock grid pattern, you should achieve around 400-500ish Locs. Anything over 550 in my opinion is too small and your hair would be prone to breakage.

⁉️: How do I get my Locs to look like yours?
💡: My Locs are unique to me as your Locs will be unique to you. That is the beauty of black hair. The way your Locs look will depend on the density (thickness) of your hair as well as your curl pattern. I have 4c hair with moderate density

⁉️: How long have you been growing your Locs?
💡: I’ve been growing my Locs since summer 2012, so 9 years. And I got them done in St. Louis, but I currently self- maintain

⁉️: How do I get rid of frizz?
💡: Frizz depends on what stage you are at in your loc journey and what type of hair you have. If you have a looser curl pattern, then your hair will be more prone to frizz. Frizz is totatally normal during the early stages of your locs. Once your locs become more mature (like mine), then you will have less frizz. It is apart of the process.

A lot of people asked for a tutorial of this head wrap style, so here’s the take down. I can do a more detailed video later. Let’s just say this is PART 1.

I actually used a wrap tie shirt for this head wrap style. That’s why the fabric looks so long. (If you know me, you know I literally wrap my hair with anything that stretches 😅) Anyways, I used a scarf under for the base cause the shirt I used was kinda thinner.. but not necessarily needed. This style can be done on any length hair, the height will just differ. by @iammnellej

1. Creating a financial plan/ budget, invest more
2. Give yourself more grace, more positive self-talk and self care
3. Become more self-aware by journaling and have cruicial conversations with yourself
4. Read a new book once a month
5. Implement a new hobby
6. Being more present in the now
7. Exercise more and eat healthy by @iammnellej
