WAKE UP.

Not just from sleep…
But from silence.
From doubt.
From playing roles that don’t fit your calling.

There’s a moment every empowered leader faces; when you realize that pretending no longer protects you. It only delays your breakthrough.

“The moment you wake up to who you really are, everything around you starts to shift.”

That’s when the power returns.
Not because you have it all together, but because you finally gave yourself permission:

✅ Permission to believe again
✅ Permission to rise differently
✅ Permission to stop shrinking
✅ Permission to start walking in alignment with your assignment

This is your leadership shift.
Not just a mindset — a move.

You don’t have to go back to who you were. You’re being invited into who you’re meant to become.

Ready to wake up to your purpose, power, and next-level leadership?

New Episode Recap: “The Power of Transition, Growth, Letting Go, and Walking into New Rooms” 🎙️

Transition is not easy.
It’s uncomfortable.
It’s unpredictable.
And let’s be honest—it can feel like rejection when doors close, people shift, or opportunities don’t pan out.

But here’s the truth I shared on this week’s episode of Coming Out of the Dark:
God is not absent in your transition.
He is present in the stillness.
He is working in the unseen.
And He is leading you—step by step—into the room He designed for you.

At the end of the episode, I prayed for every woman navigating uncertainty… feeling stuck between the “no longer” and the “not yet.”
This prayer is your reminder: Nothing is delayed. Nothing is denied. Everything is developing.

🙏🏽 If you’re in a season where the well feels dry, the silence is deafening, or the pace has slowed—pause.
Breathe.
And let this prayer renew your faith.

God’s goal is greater than what you see.
And it will all make sense in time.

“Every level of my brand required a deeper level of me.”

No one told me that building a brand would also mean rebuilding me.
That every new season of visibility would stretch something internal:
my faith, my focus, my boundaries, my identity.

This isn’t just business.
This is becoming.
And every part of it — the pivots, the pauses, the prayers — has called me to rise again… bolder, clearer, more rooted in purpose.

The truth is: your brand can only grow to the level you’re willing to grow internally.

So if I seem different lately — it’s because I am.
Not rebranded. Refined.

This is your reminder:
Your next level will require the next version of you.

Before you can lead others effectively, you must first understand who you are.

One of the most important questions we can ask ourselves is not what others think of us, but what we believe about ourselves.

That understanding shapes how we enter rooms, navigate challenges, make decisions, and influence the people and environments entrusted to our leadership.

It is also the foundation of a philosophy I have spent years developing: Formation Before Function™.

In this video, I share a personal reflection on identity, influence, and why I created The Empowered Leader.

The journey from formation to function begins within.

I invite you to join the waitlist and be part of what’s coming.

A NEW CHAPTER. ✨

There comes a season in life when you recognize that you’re no longer the woman you once were. Not because you’ve forgotten where you’ve been, but because you’ve grown through everything that was meant to shape you.

I’ve learned that every chapter doesn’t require an explanation, and every transition doesn’t need an announcement. Sometimes, the greatest transformation happens quietly, through faith, surrender, courage, and the willingness to keep becoming.

I’m grateful for the chapters that strengthened me, the lessons that refined me, and the grace of God that continues to carry me.

I’m not starting over. I’m moving forward with greater clarity, deeper wisdom, and a renewed appreciation for the woman I’ve become.

A new chapter. Same purpose. Greater alignment.

And the journey continues. ❤️

What about you? Are you stepping into a new chapter of your life? How are you navigating this season, and what strengths or challenges are you discovering along the way?

I’d love to hear your story. Sometimes, sharing our journeys reminds someone else that they’re not walking theirs alone. ❤️

A Saturday well spent! ❤️

What a beautiful way to begin my three-day weekend! I spent most of my afternoon doing something that means so much to me, loving on, caring for, and spending precious time with my mom. ❤️

Then I wrapped up my evening with some wonderful ladies, enjoying great conversation, laughter, and AMAZING Caribbean food at An Artistic Taste! And let me tell you, those oxtails were EVERYTHING! 😋 It’s been a long time since I’ve had oxtails that good, and one thing is certain, I WILL BE BACK! 🙌🏽

There is something so beautiful about making time for the people we love, appreciating the moments we share, and simply enjoying life.

My heart is full, my belly is happy, and my weekend is off to a wonderful start! 🥰

Here’s to love, friendship, good food, and making beautiful memories! 🥂❤️

Work has changed. Has the agreement?

Organizations still need commitment, accountability, adaptability, and results.

Employees are asking for respect, communication, development, flexibility, and recognition of their value.

And somewhere between those two realities, there is tension.

But what if the answer isn’t choosing a side?

What if it’s time to come back to the table?

The workplace has evolved tremendously. COVID changed us. Expectations changed. Conversations around boundaries and well-being changed. Technology changed. AI is changing how we work in real time.

So perhaps it’s time to examine the unwritten agreement between organizations and employees too.

In my latest article published by Influential Women, The New Social Contract of Work, I explore what mutual investment, accountability, communication, and respect could look like in the workplace we occupy today.

Because organizations don’t have to lose for employees to win.

And employees don’t have to diminish themselves for organizations to succeed.

There is a meeting place.

I invite you to read the full article and join the conversation.

What needs to evolve about work, and what should never change?

On Monday I said, “Work with what’s in your hands.” Today, I want to add something to that: what is in your hands can change.

There were things I desired months ago that simply were not within my capacity at the time. So I didn’t stop because I couldn’t do everything. I did what I could do, with what I had, from where I was.

And I kept moving.

Today, some of the things I couldn’t say yes to then, I can say yes to now.

That’s growth too.

Don’t despise what you have because it doesn’t look like enough. Steward it. Build with it. Keep preparing. Your present capacity does not have to be your permanent capacity.

Work with what’s in your hands today, while becoming prepared for what may be placed in them tomorrow.

Work with what’s in your hands.

A few months ago, I was presented with an opportunity that meant so much to me. There were additional things I desired as part of that opportunity, but they were not available to me at the time.

So I had a choice.

I could focus on what I didn’t have, or I could honor what I had been given.

I chose to work with what was in my hands.

I showed up. I created. I celebrated the opportunity proudly. I didn’t allow what wasn’t available to diminish the significance of what already was.

And then, months later, I opened an email and discovered that something I once desired, something I had already made peace with not having, was now being extended to me.

Whew. 🙌🏽

There is a lesson in that for me, and perhaps for someone reading this today:

Do not underestimate what God can do with what is already in your hands.

Stop measuring your beginning against what you haven’t received yet. Steward what you have. Build with it. Honor it. Be grateful for it. Give it your best.

Because sometimes the next door opens after you’ve demonstrated what you can do with the door that’s already open.

I learned to honor what was in my hands before I was given access to what I desired.

And today, I’m simply saying:

Thank You, God. I see You. ❤️

She knows now.

But before the knowing, there was a decision.

I’ve been through some things.

Things that strengthened me. Things that challenged me. Things that hurt me. Things that stretched me beyond the confined box I had placed around myself, and beyond the opinions and expectations of others.

And then there were the things that forced me to lock in with God.

Through every season of understanding, stretching, releasing, growing, grieving, and becoming, I arrived at a different kind of knowing.

I don’t know everything. I don’t know what every tomorrow will bring. But what I know today has given me something I didn’t always have:

Trust.

A deeper trust in God. A deeper relationship with Him. A knowing that even when I don’t understand the season, I can trust the One who allowed me to walk through it.

I don’t live in the question of why the way I once did.

Because now I understand that seasons will come.

There will be a season to rejoice and a season to weep.
A season to learn and a season to release.
A season to be stretched and a season to rest.
A season of disappointment and a season of celebration.
A season of togetherness and a season of being alone.

And every season will ask something different of me.

But I know now that I don’t have to fear the changing of the season.

I know Who walks through every season with me.

“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.”
Ecclesiastes 3:1, NIV

So when you look into my eyes in this video, maybe what you’re seeing is not certainty about what comes next.

Maybe you’re seeing trust.

The kind that only comes after you’ve lived through enough seasons to know that God was there in every one of them.

These are the eyes of a woman who knows now. 🤍

Stay focused. Stay committed. Stay passionate. And most importantly, keep believing in what you are building, even when you cannot yet see who is watching.

This video touched me because sometimes we are so focused on when the opportunity will come that we forget our responsibility is to be prepared when it does.

One day, someone may come before you and simply ask:

“How can I help you?”

Will you be ready to answer?

Will you know what you need? Will you be able to articulate the vision? Will you have done the work necessary to receive the opportunity that may be standing right in front of you?

But there is another side to this that moved me just as much.

This is what it looks like to show up in someone else’s life.

Support does not always mean doing the work for someone. Sometimes it means seeing them. Believing in what they are building. Opening a door. Making a connection. Offering a resource. Or simply asking, “How can I help?”

Keep building. Keep preparing. Keep believing.

And when you have the opportunity to help someone else rise, be the person who asks the question. ❤️
