I love a good restaurant. So being quoted in Food & Wine about dating? Of course I had something to say. 🥂

The topic: “foodie calls.” Saying yes to a date primarily for a free meal or drinks.

Listen, I understand that going out is expensive. And a reservation somewhere you’ve been wanting to try can make an invitation more appealing.

But if you already know you have no interest in him and you’re going for the dinner, let’s be honest about what you’re doing.

You don’t have to know he’s your future husband. You should at least want to know him better.

A full day at the Conyers Book Festival @conyersbookfest !

I had conversations with women who are thinking about getting back out there…
and others who are out there and feeling like it’s trash 🫣

We talked, we laughed, we got real about what dating actually looks like in this season of life.

I sold books, met beautiful people, and had a few moments where I thought - this is exactly why I wrote this book.

Grateful to be among so many talented authors and part of such a special community and to @thebookcellaratl for bringing it all together 💕
