I am proud to announce that I will be graduating thee Jackson State university on December 8 , 2023. I am graduating with honors , maintaining a 3.7 GPA , with my Bachelor’s degree in journalism and media studies with an emphasis in multimedia journalism.

The journey has not been easy but God has carried and blessed me way beyond what I could imagine.

Thank you to the friends I’ve gained , the friends I’ve lost , the lessons learned , the nailssbynadi family , my family , the Blue & White flash , my teachers , and my boyfriend . Thank you for the push you’ve given and the lessons you’ve taught me .

Oh man ! Yesterday was one of the greatest days of my life . I was surrounded by love as I celebrated the biggest accomplishment of my life . Not only am I a first generation college student but I did it with honors, being one of the three people in my department to graduate magna cum laude.

God has covered me throughout this journey with so much grace. He understood that this accomplishment was bigger than me and I am beyond proud of myself.

Thank you to anybody who has supported me throughout this journey. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without your support. Taimont this day is for you too boo . You weren’t able to be there but just know I am beyond proud of you and I am so glad I was able to experience not only high school but my college experience with you . To my friends at Cookman (especially Christina) thank you for supporting me in my transition and uplifting me. To my family , thank you for supporting me and helping me along the way. Jackson has given me many obstacles and you guys gave me the push I needed to keep going. I did this for you and I hope my angels are beyond proud of me . To Justin , you came into my life when I was nearing the end of my college career. That never stopped you from being in my corner. From sitting in class with me to just learn something new , helping me film my assignments , supporting my business more than anybody ever has, staying up late with me as I did assignments, being my shoulder to cry on when Jackson tried to test my faith, etc you were there . I am beyond grateful for you and I am so glad you were able to witness this moment with me.

I’m done with the B.S. 🥳🥳🥳 now it’s time for my next journey. With so much gratitude I’m happy to be signing out
