Leo season 2026, you were one for the books. 🦁✨♌️ A season filled with birthdays, Montréal Pride, Toronto adventures, spontaneous moments, endless laughter, and so much quality times with loved ones. 🌈🥂💫 But more than the places we went or the things we celebrated, it was the people beside me who made it all feel magical. Old and new friends, beautiful memories, chosen family, and the ones I love most. ❤️ Another trip around the sun, another reminder that life is made beautiful by the moments we share and the souls we get to share them with. My heart is full, my soul is grateful, and this Leo season will forever have a little piece of me. 🦁☀️✨ Until next year, Leo season. You treated me well. ♌️❤️‍🔥 #leoseason #montreal #toronto #leo #❤️ by @iamnelson_d
Sometimes the best thing you can do is pause and reset. 🌴☀️ Just came back from an unforgettable family trip to Saint Martin / Sint Maarten and our hearts are full. After a long, cold winter and the intensity of everyday life this was exactly the reset our nervous system needed 🫶🏼. We explored both sides of the island, relaxed on beautiful beaches, enjoyed amazing local food, took in some breathtaking scenery, met wonderful people, and most importantly spent real quality time together as a family. Saint Martin is truly a special place — stunning landscapes, amazing cuisine, some of the best beaches in the Caribbean, and above all, the warmest and friendliest people. Their smiles, kindness, and genuine hospitality are a big part of what keeps bringing me back...and this time, with my beautiful family 🤍 Moments like these remind me how important it is to slow down, reconnect, and be grateful. Feeling blessed, recharged, and ready for what’s next. Thank you Saint Martin / Sint Maarten for the memories…We’ll be back very soon 💙🌊 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . #familytime❤️ #saintmartin #nervoussystemhealing #fitness #fitnessjourney by @iamnelson_d

After being in the hospitality industry for nearly 2 decades, occupying nearly all the FOH / BOH positions, I’ve gained a deeper understanding of the ins and outs / ups and downs of the industry. The following are philosophies I apply towards guests; and towards training the new generation of passionate winning staff. 1- “People will forget what you said, forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” – Maya Angelou Kindness, respect and courtesy as a foundation of service goes a very long way. Treat EVERYONE who walks through the doors with genuine kindness as we don’t know their daily hardships in their personal lives. Often guests won’t remember the decor but they will remember the warmth, care and empathy they’ve experienced during their time with you and whether you’ve engaged with them on the level they were expecting (or beyond). Often, guest will forget about their difficult days once they’re receiving great transparent service. Kindness and courtesy goes a long way in this industry, it makes guests LOYAL to you and ADVOCATES to the business, incentivizing others to same level of experience. 2- “Teamwork is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results” - Andrew Carnagie Teamwork means that not one individual has to be perfect or brilliant to achieve a goal, you simply have to be striving for the SAME GOAL IN UNISON. Teamwork is the essential key in creating a motivated, HARMONISED and hospitable environment. If staff are not on the same page, then guests will run the risk of having an UNEVEN experience. The best way to achieve unison as a team is ensuring all staff are trained on the same level of the steps of service tailored to your business. Training staff to follow a well defined and structured steps of service allows them to delivered excellent service consistently, manage their time effectively ensuring smooth operations and minimizing delays. When guests consistently receive outstanding service, they will become loyal to your brand and will tell the world. Once you train, motivate, care and make WINNERS out of your staff, they’ll treat your guest right. FOLLOW FOR PART 2 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼 by @iamnelson_d

Amazing time discovering Île D’Orléans this past week. So grateful to Jonathan who not only welcomed me into his family but also showed me all the beautiful spots where he grew up in ❤️ The island is filled with beautiful endless sceneries, several quaint and picturesque villages with tasty local produces. The air, water, sceneries and most specially the company, filled my heart and gave me the break I didn’t know I needed from my city life 🫶🏼 Already looking forward to my next visits shortly ❤️☺️❤️ . . . . . . . . . #iledorleans #saintepetronille #quebec #grateful #gratitude #blessed #❤️ by @iamnelson_d
Just can’t say enough about Puerto Vallarta. It was my 3rd time visiting and it gets better EACH time. The geographic location where the mountains meet the Pacific ocean, which creates an amazing vibrant energy and GREAT weather most of the year. Such amazing food, nightlife and endless activities for everyone to enjoy. Can’t wait to be back, thanks PVR 🇲🇽🫶🏼🔥🤎 by @iamnelson_d
