99-1: Too Loved To Stay Lost

Every number has a story. In Luke 15:4, Jesus tells of a Shepherd with 100 sheep. 99 are safe. 1 is lost. And the Shepherd does the unthinkable. He leaves the 99 to go after the 1.

That is the heart of this gathering.

99-1 exists because Jesus never wrote anyone off. In a world where people are labeled by their past, cancelled for their mistakes, addicted and ashamed in secret, bound by porn, drugs, alcohol, lust, depression, abortion, divorce, pride, religion without relationship, many have been made to feel too dirty for God and too broken for church.

But the Shepherd still leaves the crowd to find the one.

This is not church as usual. This is a return to the heart of Jesus. The One who touched lepers, ate with sinners, forgave the adulteress, restored Peter after denial. The One whose blood still speaks louder than your shame.

The message here will always be simple and unchanging: You cannot out-sin the blood of Jesus. You cannot go so far that grace cannot find you.

So whether you are lost in addiction, lost in religion, lost in success, lost in pain, or you are part of the 99 but hungry for more of Jesus, there is room for you here.

Being born again is a beautiful beginning, but it is still only the first step toward a truly purposeful life. Salvation opens the door, but transformation is a journey. The burdens, patterns, and wounds carried before meeting Jesus are not always lifted in a moment. They are gradually healed as we walk with Him, surrender to His shaping, and allow His truth to renew us.

Growth takes time. God works through process. As we continually behold Christ through His Word, His presence, and obedience to His leading.We are slowly formed into His image. This is how real change happens. Being born again starts the story, but becoming who He designed us to be unfolds day by day, until His life is fully seen in us.

✨ The Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes (Psalm 118:23).
On the 19th of August 2025, the Lord entrusted me with a heritage, a reward, and a testimony that words can hardly capture (Psalm 127:3).
I became a father. 🙏🏽

For months, my lips were sealed. No post, no hint, no announcement. Like Mary, we treasured these things in our hearts (Luke 2:19), waiting patiently for the fullness of time. And now, with joy overflowing, I present to you the precious gift heaven has given us:

OLUWATISE – “The Lord has done it.” Indeed, He has turned prayers into reality, faith into sight, and promises into flesh.

CYRUS – “The Lord’s chosen instrument.” Just as God raised Cyrus to fulfill His divine purpose (Isaiah 45:1–4), I declare that this son will walk in destiny, breaking barriers and opening doors for generations.

OLUWADARASIMI – “The Lord has been good to me.” My soul rejoices because His goodness is undeniable, His mercy undeniable, and His faithfulness unquestionable.

And to @_ladylikedeborah the woman who carried this miracle with grace, peace, and strength beyond words — my wife, Iyo Mi, my answered prayer — I honor you. On the 28th of August, just days after bringing forth our son, you celebrated another year of life. Truly, August has now become our family’s month of double joy, double grace, and double testimonies. 💙

So I shout with a full heart: Ebenezer — thus far the Lord has helped us (1 Samuel 7:12).
This is more than the cry of a newborn; it is the sound of prophecy fulfilled, of covenant remembered, of grace unveiled.

In John 20:6-7, there is a small but powerful detail about Jesus’ resurrection:

“Then Simon Peter came... and saw the linen cloths lying there, and the face cloth, which had been on Jesus’ head, not lying with the linen cloths but folded up in a place by itself.”

At first, this might seem like an insignificant detail, but nothing in Scripture is random. Why does the Gospel specifically mention the folded face cloth?

In Jewish culture, there was a custom at meals that carried a special meaning. If a master finished eating, he would crumple his napkin and leave it on the table, signaling that he was done. But if he folded it neatly, it meant, *”I’m coming back.”*

Jesus had just conquered death itself. He didn’t need to take the time to fold the face cloth—but He did. Why? Because He was sending a message: *”I’m not finished. I’m coming back.”*

This is such a powerful reminder. The resurrection wasn’t the end of the story—it was the beginning. Jesus didn’t just rise and leave us; He left a promise that He would return. The folded face cloth is a quiet but profound sign that He is still working, still moving, and still preparing for His second coming.

It also makes me reflect: Am I living like I truly believe He’s coming back? Am I preparing my heart for the moment I will see Him face-to-face?

The folded face cloth is more than just a detail—it’s an invitation to live with faith, urgency, and hope, knowing that Jesus is not finished with us or this world.

Even in the smallest things, God speaks to us. How incredible is that?

So I finally married that "Gentle Oyinbo Sister in the Choir" Waooooooo 😊

Harmony in every sense. Our love song began in the choir, where I found my melody in you. Iyo Mi, your calm and gentle soul brings balance to my life, and your brilliance inspires me to be a better person. We weathered the storm together, and you showed me that true love isn't just a feeling, but a choice. A choice to stand by each other, to support each other, and to love each other unconditionally. Forever grateful to have you as my partner in every sense. I love you more with each passing day.

By the way, this love story won't be complete if I don't thank some cast and crew 😁 In no particular order: Thank GOD who's the director and producer of this story. In the Stillness: A Call to Reflection

In the quiet moments, when the world slows down and our minds are stilled, we find our souls. It's in these moments of reflection that we invite the Holy Spirit to guide us, to speak to our hearts, and to realign us with God's purpose.

As we reflect, we engage in a sacred act of self-examination, surrender, and growth. We ask God to search our hearts, to know our deepest thoughts and desires, and to transform us from the inside out (Psalm 139:23).

In reflection, we're reminded that our strength doesn't come from our own abilities or efforts, but from the Lord. We're empowered to face challenges, to overcome obstacles, and to walk in faith, knowing that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13).

So let's take a moment to pause, to breathe deeply, and to reflect on our journey. Let's realign ourselves with God's purpose, trusting in the Lord with all our heart, and leaning not on our own understanding (Proverbs 3:5).

In the stillness, we'll find our souls, our strength, and our purpose. Let's answer the call to reflection, and may we emerge stronger, wiser, and more faithful.
