where should I head next?

(I should’ve started those back in 2023) by @iampenha

Those who have followed me for a while, know me personally, are from my hometown, or have gotten to know me here, know exactly how much I’ve wanted a change—and how much I’ve wanted to look at myself and treat myself with kinder words, with more patience, and with gentleness.

That change might have shown itself mostly through physical aspects, but trust me when I say it has gone far beyond that.

To get here, it took me several months of discipline, resilience, focus, selflessness, self-love, acceptance, patience, learning, and so many deeper lessons about what fitness, health, and wellness truly entail.

I’ve been keeping myself active for years, but never with a real purpose. Never with the right mindset. Never with intention. And, honestly, never with the willingness to truly commit to myself.

The cutting season is over.

And I know it will be difficult to look at myself with the same eyes I have now when my body inevitably changes over the next few weeks and months. But maybe that’s the real lesson in all of this: if you want to achieve something, you have to grow—not only on the outside, but on the inside, too.

So, let it commence.

But make sure you enjoy the process.

It’s supposed to be challenging. It’s supposed to be uncomfortable sometimes. But it should also be enjoyable. It should be fun.

Because if you can’t enjoy the process, what’s the point of the destination? by @iampenha

Been meaning to start posting some of my workouts, and this one was a fun day where I was feeling super strong.

I have some ideas for upcoming reels and posts.

Find me where the crowd is less, the sky is blue, and the wind is free.

The second picture, from all, is my favorite. It speaks for itself. Can you feel what I do?

and just like that I’m back to loving life again.

despite the wildfires and all the smoke in the Rockies, I definitely missed feeling a little smaller than usual, being a little higher than average, being out there, up there… by @iampenha

so glad my favorite season is finally here, and so happy I got to start something new 🌷✨💫🌻🌱 by @iampenha

I just wanted to leave these pictures here as a memory of the warmest winter month I’ve experienced since moving here — and in case you’re looking for an excuse to get outside soon.

We had a crazy warm February, reaching +16°C, and now the forecast says -29°C is on its way. Even though I’m not looking forward to the cold, we definitely need the snow.

See you on the next hike, guys. Stay warm this week! 🫶 by @iampenha

If today was your last day on earth, would you say you lived the life you wanted to?

I think we are currently living in a delicate and dangerous time, which definitely makes it challenging to achieve certain outcomes and goals.

It is, honestly, stressing me out by just thinking about the “tomorrow”, but I cannot simply wait for a better day and a better time to come. It’d be a waste of time.

I only have the now and the today, as for a certainty. I only have this life, because the next one I am not sure of what will consist of.

So, I am out there; living, collecting memories, experiences, and learning, constantly.

I hope I see you out there too, whenever you want to be, with whoever wants to be with you, or not.
