#Storytime: 🚨*Long Post*🚨Daddy surely loved the kids. Especially the babies. Each time I watched this video. I’ll never forget what transpired. When I was pregnant with my very 1st child, my mom found out. When she(my mom) told my dad, he became quiet, slammed the paper items, the doors, his coat. Then he paused and said, “Well, at least you gotcho diploma” and he slowly angrily walked up the stairs so loud , the house, the game, was super quiet. He slammed the door hard. My heart was pounding! When my belly got bigger, I couldn’t wait to see my handsome son! I was careful tip toeing in front of my dad.He looked me square in my eyes and said, “I’m not moving to different places in my house to smoke! I smoke where I please! I thought my daddy was so mean! After post partum, I was just closed inside my shared room with my sister and I, amazed a my brand new, beautiful creation. He said “Quinn!!” I hesitantly walked over, “My cigs is gone, come on let me see that baby” I was nervous to see what he’d say, that he scolded me about having kids. He asked me to place my brand new baby on the bed and he just looked. He looked at my beautiful baby, then me. He said,”Sit him up, let me look at ‘em! He so lil I’m too scared to hold him!”. He stared and smiled, then looked at me. He said“Wow, all these long nine months you made a little baby. You made that?” I nodded close to tears and said yes. The feelings of shame disappeared. I felt empowered. Later in the years , I worked so hard to be a mother to my child. I loved him so much!! It felt the world to give my dad’s blessing. I remembered the day my mom sent me this video. Remembered how special my precious baby was and is. He is something else! Such a good, baby! Now, my amazing big son. Everytime I see my baby it feels like his essence surrounds him. I can’t go back to talk to you again, but, I will see you around and remember the strong messages you told me. I love you daddy. I miss you DEEP..
