And just like that 🌟
I walked the runway at PayPal Melbourne Fashion Week on International Women’s Day 🌟
Firstly I want thank ME for strutting without a single stumble. This show was the culmination of endless hard work and dedication. I tirelessly practiced walking up and down my driveway, giving my legs rest, and repeating the process over and over again 🌟 I have the blisters to prove it!
I opened for the incredible @gailsorronda , a wave of pressure hit me. How would the audience react to a model with a cane? Waiting backstage for what felt like an eternity, my mind raced with thoughts of potential falls, my tremors, dropping my cane and the runway seemed forever long🌟
And just like that 💫 I was told to GO! something shifted in me. I remembered my agents Roxanne & Brig who fought tooth and nail to get me on that stage. With a resolute “FUCK IT” I held my head high and strutted with my trusty cane. Every second on that runway, I felt the energy of the crowd, calls of my name, the cheers, the clapping and even the tears of pride from my daughter. I DID IT 💫
So many people I want to express my gratitude to: my incredible agents @silverfoxmgmt , @melbfashionfestival the brilliant designer @gailsorronda the amazing models, uber stylish @bennett_abby for your kindness, @lorealpro_education_aus
Together, we defied expectations and shattered stereotypes.
Just because I’m disabled doesn’t make me invisible!!
Remember I have a cane and I’m NOT afraid to use it 🌟Visibility Matters 🌟

Headed to MECCA for a new fragrance and I found it!

I picked three that were amazingly beautiful, but came home with NUTS by Born To Stand Out, which I’m literally nuts over.

Stay tuned, I’ll do a proper breakdown of this scent because it deserves one. 🤎

And for my disabled community, MECCA Bourke Street was really accessible and easy for me to navigate. ♿️

Moral of this story… when a Libertine fragrance expert chooses the very first perfume for you to try, just buy it. 😂 She was not wrong.

I don’t collect perfumes. I invest in scents I’ll wear for a long time.
