The energy in the room for the @jordymusic gig was PHENOMENAL. The venue was a lot more intimate than I’d realised, which made the atmosphere pretty electric!

@oceantisdall kicked us off with some absolutely *phenomenal* vocals, then @myylomusic hyped us all up with ridiculous amounts of energy, and then @jordymusic himself came on stage and just absolutely smashed it with a fantastic show.

And then stayed for hugs afterwards! (Even if I AM apparently crap at taking selfies 😅)

FANTASTIC evening ❤️❤️❤️

Haven’t actually made a post on here in far too long, so here’s one from a few days ago when I was REALLY feeling myself 😊

A pint of Guinness, and a toast:

To the man who came from poverty and managed to build a life for his family, working all hours of the week.

To the man who spotted his sweetheart across the air raid shelter and vowed to do all he could to give her a wonderful life.

To the man who left the safety of his protected job to go off to war, because he felt he had to.

To the man who loved his Westerns.

To the man who would always dislodge his false teeth at the dinner table, or cut a slice of cake and then pull the rest of it towards him, just because he KNEW it’d make me laugh.

To the man whose cooking invariably set off his smoke alarm, so he’d stand at the kitchen door and waft it with a tea towel, saying “It’s always doing that…”

To the man who, along with my Dad, taught me the importance of being silly.

Happy 100th Birthday, Grandad.
Wherever you are, I hope you’re having a cracking time.

Cheers!

❤️❤️❤️
