Damola is my blessing. ❤️

Some people come into your life and take away some of your pain. Some come into your life and somehow become the sister you didn’t even know you needed. Damola came into mine and became both.

She is my biggest supporter, my biggest hype woman, and one of the people who genuinely wants to see me win. There is something so special about having someone who is genuinely happy when good things happen to you. Damola will always be my number one hype woman. 😂❤️

She has healed parts of my heart in ways she probably doesn’t even understand. She calls my soul. She calms me in ways I can’t explain. She is my safest space, my comforter, and my person.

She can’t solve all my problems, but she will cry with me for as long as I need her to. She will pray for me at any time, encourage me that things will get better, and stay with me even when getting better takes a little longer than we hoped.

She sees through me all the time, and honestly, I don’t know how. 😂 I’m not the easiest person. I get in and out of moods, I get tired, I shut down, and I don’t always know how to talk about how I feel. But Damola doesn’t care. She’ll still ask. Even when she knows I probably won’t answer. She’ll ask again. And somehow, she always knows when something is wrong.

I trust Damola with my whole heart. I trust her with my secrets, my fears, my ugly days, my dreams, everything. And I know she’ll hold them gently.

And Damola, I am SO proud of you.

Just look at everything you once said you would do, and look at you now. 🥹 I’m proud of your drive. I’m proud that you’ve never stopped chasing your goals. I’m proud of the woman you’re becoming. I’m proud of your faith in God. I’m proud of your strength, your heart, and the way you keep going even when life isn’t easy.

Oh, Damola… the world is honestly too small for you. ❤️

There are friends in life, and then there are friends for life.

There’s just something about being an adult that makes certain things piss me off so much. Especially when people deliberately choose to get under my skin at my big age. 😭

Why am I worrying when I have a husband? 😂

Someone that knows me, understands me, looks at my face and already knows what I need. Someone I don’t have to stress myself explaining everything to. I know you, you know me, and honestly, we are perfect. 😂❤️

I can do things myself, yes. But why must I do everything myself? 😭

I want a husband so I can finally say, “Babe, please handle this,” and go back to minding my business. 😂

It’s actually so cute to me that every time I learn something, I write it down in my notes.

Some of these lessons came from conversations with people I love, some from things I’ve experienced personally, and some from moments that just made me think.

I think I’m slowly becoming the kind of person who pays attention to life the good, the bad, the uncomfortable and everything in between.
