Someone asked me who i am, and i couldn’t bring up what i do or where i studied, this is the only answer i have now. I come from absolute middle class family, mom studied till the 10th, dad till 12th. No degrees, no inherited wealth anything. Just two people who decided their kid was going to have whatever he needs, and somehow they never broke that promise. not once.

And i was not an easy kid. I was more stubborn, difficult, had my own opinions about everything. But they stayed patient with me through all of it. every version of me that was hard to love, they loved anyway. every lesson i resisted, they found another way to put it in me. Without making me feel like a burden even on the days i definitely was one.

I don’t fully understand how they did it. Working/living with what they had, never letting me feel like something was far away from me, never complaining about what they didn’t have, they didn’t hand me a roadmap but the values and honestly that turned out to be worth more than anything else they could’ve given me.

Today whatever big steps i take, there’s this moment where i just think about them. About how they helped me shape my values.

This one’s for you ma, nothing i ever build is going to come close to what you put into me but i’ll spend my whole life being worth it.
