Sign my E- Petition today! Please help me to create change and to protect CONSUMERS who buy personal care and cosmetics products from social media influencers. Consumers deserve to know what they are buying, especially when it comes to products that can impact their health and the environment. By requiring influencers to disclose the presence of microplastics in skincare and cosmetics products, we can ensure greater transparency and allow consumers to make better-informed decisions. This change will promote responsible consumption and help reduce the environmental and health impacts of microplastics. The link for the petition is in my Linktree on my bio -please share the petition amongst your family and friends. I don’t ever want to look back in my life and feel I did not speak up when I could have to protect people and the environment from the dangers of microplastics. This is not about taking work away from any social media influencer who operates in this industry -it’s about creating a more honest and authentic platform for influencers and consumers. We need 100,000 signatures for this to go to parliament - we can only but try and say we did our best to create change for good. Here’s the link https://chng.it/mhRbGHdx7CThank you for your support in advance and if any media channel would like to support this petition please DM me . šŸ™šŸ½ by @iamsairakhan

My Sauna Ritual - Your Questions Answered Can exfoliating help your tan last longer?Yes! gentle exfoliation can actually help your tan look better for longer.A tan sits in the top layer of skin (the stratum corneum), which is constantly shedding. If that shedding is uneven, your tan fades patchy and dull. By lightly exfoliating, you:remove flaky, dead buildupkeep the fade evenmaintain a smoother, more radiant lookBut over-exfoliating will strip it faster so it’s about regular, gentle renewal, not scrubbing.Do oils help preserve a tan?Yes! oils don’t ā€œlock inā€ a tan biologically, but they visually and structurally extend it by:keeping skin hydrated (which slows excessive flaking)improving skin elasticity and smoothnessgiving that glow that makes a tan look richerWhen skin is dry, it sheds faster and your tan goes with it.The best approachLight, regular exfoliation (like this sauna cloth ritual)Consistent hydration with natural oilsAvoid harsh scrubs or drying productsThat way your tan fades evenly, slowly, and beautifully, rather than patchy and dull. by @iamsairakhan

Skincare from the inside out. As a skincare founder, I don’t just think about what we put on our skin… but the more holistic approach of what we feed ourselves, and how that supports our skin from the inside outOne of the simplest things I do most mornings is adding a spoon of omega seed mix and hemp seeds to my yogurt and fruit. It’s such a small addition, but incredibly nutrient-dense.You’re giving your body essential fatty acids, fibre, plant protein, minerals… all the things your skin and cells actually recognise and know how to use. This is what I think of as real internal skincare. One really important tip though, grind your seeds (especially flax). Whole seeds can pass straight through the body, but once ground, your body can properly absorb all those nutrients. It takes seconds, but makes all the difference.I also love how simple and sustainable this feels. It’s far more cost-effective than relying on multiple supplements, just one tablespoon a day, and a bag will last me around 4 weeks. I keep mine in an airtight jar to stay fresh. It’s these small, consistent rituals that gently support your skin barrier, your gut, your hormones, your energy… because it’s all connected.Just a simple sprinkle each morning and you’re nourishing your skin from within by @iamsairakhan

12 reps - 3 x round each exercise I strength train because, as I’ve moved into midlife, my focus has naturally shifted from cardio to strength. It’s less about burning calories now, and more about building something that lasts.I’m thinking about my bones, my mobility, my range of movement… I’m really training for my 60s and beyond. Like how do I want to feel in my body later on? Strong? Capable? Able to move freely? That’s what matters to me now.And something else I’ve realised… our skin responds to all of this too. Not just what we put on it, but how we live in our bodies… have you noticed that?I’m not trying to reverse ageing, I just want to support my body in doing what it’s designed to do, for as long as possible. Strength training helps stimulate collagen, supports elastin… it’s that quiet, behind-the-scenes work. You don’t see it instantly, but over time, you really feel the difference. For me, it’s the same philosophy as my skincare.Looking after myself from within… and supporting it from the outside. It’s not about chasing youth anymore… it’s about ageing well. by @iamsairakhan

At 56, this is my body. Soft. Changing. Real.I’ve lost collagen, elastin, a bit of weight… and yes this is my belly after a caesarean. Wrinkled. Looser. Not as it once was.Do I love it every day? No. But I’m no longer hiding it.Because this is what a naturally ageing body looks like.No treatments here. No tightening. No threads, injectables, or surgery. Just time, life, and a body that has carried me through all of it.And yet… we are surrounded by images telling us we should look ā€œtonedā€, ā€œsmoothā€, ā€œunchanged.ā€ What we’re not shown is the full story the edits, the procedures, the interventions behind those flawless ā€œafterā€ shots. And that gap? It leaves so many women feeling: • insecure • ashamed • embarrassed • like they’ve somehow failedIt makes women want to hide themselves away. But we cannot let that be the only narrative. We need to show real bodies. Real skin. Real ageing. Not instead of treatments, but alongside them so every woman can see herself reflected somewhere, and feel like she belongs. This is my offering. No perfection. Just truth.I hope it helps someone breathe out a little. by @iamsairakhan

I’m struggling to sit with the pain of what is happening to women in Afghanistan.Girls denied education. Women erased from public life. Voices silenced. Lives restricted in ways that strip away dignity, agency, and hope. And what hurts just as much… is the silence.Where are the voices saying, ā€œthis is not our religionā€? Where are the mullahs speaking clearly against this injustice? Where are the protests across the Muslim world? Where are the Muslim men standing up for the women of their own faith? Where are the feminists who say this is a fight for all women?Because right now, it feels like not enough is being said. Not enough is being done. And I get it, I really do. It’s hard to criticise your own when you already feel like you live in a constant state of defence. When your identity, your faith, your values are already under scrutiny. But this… this is exactly the moment that defines what Islam stands for and what it does not.If we don’t take ownership of that narrative, if we don’t call out what is wrong with clarity and courage… others will. And they already are. Look at how the right wing is using this, shaping the story, fuelling division, gaining traction.Silence doesn’t protect us. It distorts us.Injustice does not define a faith, but failing to challenge it allows others to define it for us.Women matter. Their freedom matters. Their education, their voices, their autonomy, these are not optional. We cannot be selective in our outrage. We cannot be loud for some women and quiet for others. This isn’t just about Afghanistan. This is about who we are and what we are willing to stand for. It’s time to wake up.I have been accused of ā€œselling outā€ called a ā€œcoconutā€ had death threats when I have ever challenged the rights of women from the faith I was born into … it’s never stopped me being vocal - if you cannot criticise inhumane practises against the vulnerable in your communities …. Well you are a coward.Grow some and stand up for women’s rights! This post probably will get a few likes because it’s about human rights! But if I was standing there in a bikini stroking my arse I’d get more… This is the world we live in … go figure. by @iamsairakhan

I am not a before photo. I am the whole story, and I refuse to be edited. This summer, I’m not buying into the language designed to make us feel less than. ā€œ Chicken arms.ā€ ā€œTurkey neck.ā€ ā€œCrow’s feet.ā€ No thank you.If I’d believed all of that, I’d never have put on a swimsuit. I’m 5ft 1, short legs, skin marked with scars from a rare disorder… and still, here I am the face of my own skincare brand. At 56, the only thing I wear daily is my I-don’t-need-fixing hat… and my confidence, unapologetically. To every midlife woman your body has carried you through everything. It is not a problem to solve. It is a story to honour. I’m not here to please. I’m here to live fully, freely, in every moment of sunshine. This summer prep your skin with rituals that bring joy to your skin and power to your confidence. Do what makes you happy, makes you feel alive and never feel the need to justify why you choose to do the things that make you happy . Let the sunshine begin ā˜€ļø#ad by @iamsairakhan
