You move through me like tide through sand,
patient, erasing every name I try to give you.
I reach as if for a lover’s hand in the dark,
and find instead a wound that teaches me to kneel.
Only then do I see—
this was never flesh or flame,
but the unseen breath behind my breath,
the God who loved me first.

There are seasons when the burden of existence presses upon us, rendering each step deliberate, almost reluctant. Yet even the slowest of creatures—the humble slug—finds its quiet triumph in arrival. In this, there is a gentle wisdom: that fulfillment is not measured by swiftness, but by persistence. And so, we are invited to cultivate a deeper grace—the ability to discover joy not merely in completion, but in the unfolding journey itself, however long it may take.

Lately, I’ve been feeling like time is on fast forward—
catching glimpses of the future
while I wait for it to catch up with me.

So much talent from Inglewood showed up tonight. Seen some of the homies from the sandbox. Took me back to the roasting and telling jokes days at @inglewoodsentinels class of 09 was the best !

I’m grateful for where I come from but blessed because where I’m going now. Word to @natiabooboo 🗣️We survived the hood bro!

God took me to a palace I never thought I see myself, but I wouldn’t change it at all.

@fatreezy appreciate you bro, you always show love when I see you champ.

God bless the homies 🙏🏽 by @iamscottpope

Roots run deep, but what does that really mean? We choose who we are, then Photoshop the image like we’re on TV. In a world of AI, filters, Botox, veneers, and BBLs, don’t forget you were originally made in the image of God, and your worth was there from birth. by @iamscottpope

I walked barefoot through landmines for you,
only to be greeted with a sword.

I stare blameless, but not without guilt,
because I took a real chance on love with you,
like I was staring in a movie.

But our love was as real
as the ghosts beneath the bed.

If this were middle school love,
maybe we could work.
But since it all feels like déjà vu,
I’d rather we revisit the past. by @iamscottpope

Live every moment not like the world is watching but like God is watching. Strength comes when you learn to rise from your mishaps.

For though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again

Did you consult with the Lord today?

Proverbs3: 5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.

What a day. Another year of @koreatownrunclub Ceast And Desist relay race. With @movementrunners running it since day one. Started as coed, and now the fellas just run it every year. A test to push each other to bring the best of us. We riding until the wheels fall off. So
