One month of loving you baby girl! Ella Jayne Sawyerr was born on 11.8.23 and we have been loving this bundle of joy every day. Our hearts are so full 💓. I would like to thank @utahfertilitycenter, Dr. Foulk, my coordinator Julian and Tonya for all of your help in bringing our baby girl here. You all were always so encouraging and supportive of us from day 1. Thank you for making this dream come true!

There are lots of new faces around here so it’s time for a re-introduction.

Hi! My name is Sherri Yvette and I am a lifestyle content creator focusing primarily on infertility advocacy and lifestyle content. I have met so many of you through this experience and although it’s not a space anyone chooses to be in, I love the community we have formed!

Fun facts about me:

💗 I am an engineer during the day (this is probably a shocker to some lol).
💗 I am married to my best friend and will be celebrating our 2-year anniversary tomorrow!
💗 We have two fur babies Blu and Lena and I consider them my children 👶🏽👶🏽.
💗 I love to cook. I make a mean strawberry cake 🍰.

I’m still smiling thinking about our baby sprinkle last weekend. To be surrounded by so much love as we prepare to welcome our second baby girl was incredibly special. Our family and friends made Gia’s sprinkle everything I hoped it would be. Seeing Ella running around enjoying every second as the soon-to-be big sister made it even sweeter.
We didn’t even manage to get one picture of the three of us because, well… Ella has places to be!😂. But somehow that feels pretty representative of this season of life.

Gia, you are already so loved. We can’t wait to meet you. 💗💜.

Yesterday marked my 47th trip around the sun, and I couldn’t feel more blessed.

This year has given me so much to be grateful for. From growing another little life and thanking God for allowing me to complete our family healthy and strong, to the love and joy I get every day from my family and friends , my heart is full.

If you had told me a few years ago that one of my favorite maternity sessions would happen in a Pilates studio, I probably wouldn’t have believed you. 🤍

A few months postpartum with Ella, my friend @blessedkaila introduced me to Pilates, and what started as something new quickly became my practice.

Of course, I loved seeing the ways my body began to change—but what I noticed first was how different I felt in it. I felt stronger. More connected to my body. More aware of what it was capable of. The physical transformation came, but the strength came first.

Somewhere along the way, Pilates also became so much more than movement for me. It became one of my most grounding forms of self-care—a place to slow down, breathe, quiet the noise and take care of me.

And as a mama, that last part doesn’t always come naturally. There is always someone or something that needs you. Pilates has been one of the spaces that reminds me that I need me, too. That taking care of myself matters. That I can pour into the people I love and still make space to pour back into myself.

So to be here now, carrying another little one and continuing the practice that has been part of my life since those early postpartum months with Ella, feels incredibly full circle.

And I can’t think of anyone better to have captured these photos than my friend @form_in_focus @madelynnegrace_ . She has been behind the camera for so many special milestones in my life and for my family, and now she’s given me these memories of another chapter I never want to forget. There’s something really special about being seen and photographed by someone who already knows your story.

Happy Father’s Day Tulashi. You are Ella’s safe place, biggest supporter, and one of her greatest blessings. Because of the way you show up for her, she will always know what it feels like to be deeply loved, protected, and cherished. Watching the bond you share is something I’ll always be grateful for.
