Yesterday was the Sweetest day of life. I married the man of my dreams, the man I prayed for, the man I worked on myself to love and appreciate. I planned, I cancelled, I planned again and everyone that supposed to be there came out today. It's been a while since so many of my family gathered. We have gathered for weddings and funerals but a day like today has been a while. We gathered in honor of our ancestors our Grandparents James and Rachel as well as my Uncle Fitzroy who left us on July 4th 2018. We cooked way too much food, had drinks like we were 20, watched six generations in the park from Boomers to GenZ to Alphas and Betas. This year I cried like a baby on my birthday... I am thankful for my little family I created because without them I do not know what would have happened that day. I had the most horrible thing said to me on my birthday with a rippling effect days afterwards. I am trying to push thru but one has taken a toll on me.
