Spent the day at Carl Laidlaw Orchards in Brampton and honestly, this is such a beautiful fall day-trip if you’re looking for more than just apple picking. 🌻🎃🍎

Set across 100 acres in the Credit River Valley, this family-run orchard has been doing pick-your-own since the 1970s and grows 20+ varieties of apples and 3 types of pears. (carl laidlaw orchards)

🍂 Some places are beautiful. Some moments become memories forever.

A little fall escape to Algonquin, surrounded by friends, family, endless golden views and the kind of crisp autumn air that makes you want to pause and take it all in. 🤎🍁

But the most special part of this trip? Taking my parents along.

They had seen pictures of Canada’s famous fall colours, but this was the first time they truly experienced autumn in all its glory — the endless stretches of red, orange and gold, the lakes reflecting the changing trees, and that unmistakable feeling of being surrounded by nature. 🍂✨

Watching them stop, look around and take it all in made the drive, the early morning and every little stop along the way completely worth it.

Because travelling is beautiful…
but experiencing the world through your parents’ eyes is something else entirely. ❤️

A day trip, yes.
But a memory I know we’ll carry for a lifetime. 🍁

Exploring the beautiful Highway 60 Corridor in Algonquin Provincial Park, where every turn brought a new shade of fall and every stop felt like a postcard.

From the tranquil shores of Canoe Lake to the breathtaking panoramic views at Lookout Trail, followed by the peaceful beauty of Canisbay Lake and Lake of Two Rivers — four stops, one unforgettable day.

Moraine Lake & Lake Louise — where surreal turquoise waters, majestic mountain peaks and picture-perfect alpine scenery feel almost too beautiful to be real. ✨

From the iconic Valley of the Ten Peaks at Moraine Lake to the mesmerizing beauty of Lake Louise, every moment felt like stepping into a postcard. A day filled with unreal views, endless photographs and memories we’ll cherish forever. 🤍

A little travel tip if you’re planning your visit: 📝
🚐 Parks Canada shuttle reservations are essential. Book as soon as reservations open in April for the summer season, as spots fill up quickly.
🚫 Personal vehicles are not permitted at Moraine Lake, and parking at Lake Louise is very limited, so the shuttle is a convenient way to visit both lakes.

Some places are beautiful in pictures. These two are even more magical in person. 🌎🤍

And then we decided to see Lake Louise from a whole different perspective.. Up we went on the Little Beehive Hike 🏔️

First stop: Mirror Lake.
Quiet, dreamy and perfectly tucked away in the mountains.

And then came Lake Agnes… 💙
The higher we climbed, the more magical it got.
