💜Eleven. Years. Sober.💜⁣
⁣
A bittersweet celebration. The first sober birthday without my Mommy. I will honor her by doing what we fought so hard for. She was my biggest cheerleader, never losing hope that I would get clean and sober. And I did. And I’ll stay that way one day at a time. ⁣
⁣
I’m so grateful I got 10+ years of making living amends to her. My best friend. ⁣
⁣
This past year was the worst year of my life. And I stayed sober. The coping skills work and the support system I’ve built over the years is unmatched. ⁣
⁣
We can get through anything sober. What a fucking miracle. ⁣
⁣
Mama… thanks for never giving up hope. This year’s theme is purple, just for you. I miss you madly. 💜💜💜⁣
⁣
To all my people… thank you for carrying me through this past year. (Especially @michaelscottdavid @spencer.no6le @hilarienoble @em.foulge.noble 💜)

✨ Ten. Years. Sober. ✨⁣
⁣
This year has been a rough one to say the least… but even on my hardest days, I know I can manage because of my recovery program. It always rises up to hold me. ⁣
⁣
There’s a lot of unknowns in life right now… but one thing that will ALWAYS be certain… being clean and sober is the way for me. ⁣
⁣
Thank you to all the people who have supported me this year, and every year leading up to this monumental milestone. ⁣
⁣
I DIDN’T GET HERE ALONE. ⁣
⁣
A decade?! 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨 What a miracle. ⁣
⁣
I’ll take another 24. 🕊️✨ ⁣

75 Hard. DONE.⁣
⁣
This is my second time completing 75 Hard and let me tell you… it’s HARD. And life-changing. And will show you what you’re really made of. ⁣
⁣
I did it to stop the insane depression spiral I was in after losing my Mom in June. ⁣
⁣
I did it to show up for ME, so I could show up for my husband, siblings, and nephew. ⁣
⁣
I did it because my Mom thought I was made of magic, so I started acting like it. The best thing I can do to honor my Mama is to take great care of her children she loved so much. Myself included. ⁣
⁣
If you’re thinking of doing it. Think long and hard. 😂 This shit is not for the weak. ⁣
⁣
And I am not weak. Like I’ve said before… “a checklist HATES to see my Type A ass coming.” 😉 ⁣

Some of these are heavy (hello, grief)… but they’re meant to be. Recovery is so much deeper than the highlight reel. 4, 7, and 8 have me like 😬🙃🫠. ⁣
⁣
Let me know if you’re a sober baddie who will actually write these down. 📝⁣
