I walked into a Benz showroom some time ago and after picking my choice, they told me “Just pay 20% deposit and the car is yours. Spread the rest over time.” Henhen? Really?😳

And immediately I thought to myself...Interesting! Because I’ve seen this pattern somewhere before. Many of the dreams we admire today didn’t begin with full payment.

And that’s how some dreams, visions, and ambitions work too. All you need sometimes is enough deposit to show that you believe in yourself. Enough deposit to show that you’re serious. Enough deposit to prove that you’re committed.

Then watch how partners, opportunities, resources, and favour begin to fund the rest... especially when the dream is big enough.😉

Come to think of it, some of the people we celebrate today used the exact same pattern. Some of you have even contributed to funding the outstanding balance of a few dreams yourselves. (IPO, anyone? 😏) They just didn’t explain it to you this way.

Now that I’ve given you this update, don’t say I never did anything for you o. 😂

BTW, before some of you start typing congratulations... This is not a new Benz.

Calm down. I’m only here to discuss patterns. The car is innocent.😆😆

Shey you code? #Lightishere✨️

One of the most profound truths about life is that once you see something—once you witness what’s possible—you can’t unsee it.

Back in Nigeria, I was always a dreamer, driven by excellence and a deep desire to create and achieve. But often, I found myself surrounded by voices that urged caution: "Be careful," "Don't go too far," "Stay small," "Keep calm," "You don’t want to attract the wrong forces, you can't do it." These words, though sometimes well-intentioned, were limiting. They instilled fear, not faith. And for a while, they shaped my perspective.

But then, stepping into a place like Dubai many years ago, everything changed. I mean EVERYTHING! Here, I met people from different walks of life—people who weren’t just talking about big dreams but actually living them. Entrepreneurs running five to ten multimillion-dollar businesses, individuals fulfilling their purpose on an extraordinary scale, people with access to resources, collections, experiences, and networks I once thought were far-fetched. Suddenly, it wasn’t just an idea—it was real, tangible. I SAW IT WAS REAL!

And the truth is, once you see that something is possible, you can never again believe it isn’t.

So, I am answering one of the many questions i'm often asked. Has living in Dubai helped me? Oh, yeah! Absolutely. More than just expanding my vision, it has redefined my mindset. It has stretched my creativity, introduced me to new possibilities, and shattered the false ceilings I once thought were immovable. Now, I don’t just dream—I build. I don’t just hope—I execute. And I’ve realized that the only limits that exist are the ones we allow to stay.

Here's my word to you, Don't box yourself! Don't say yes to the limitations presented to you. Meanwhile, here are some pictures from the just concluded BOARDROOM EXPERIENCE in Lagos, Nigeria. We're getting ready for the Dubai edition. Not stopping until I see more rise of Kingdom minded entrepreneurs.

The future of African enterprise will not be built by inspiration alone. It will be built by movement, market access, relationships and deliberate positioning.

Proud to witness this unfold at African Marketplace 2026.

I think I’ve rested enough to go and discover another version of myself this weekend. 😆

Last year’s @africanmarketplace_official casually turned me into an ambassador, content creator, interviewer, hype man, networker and everything in between. 😂 And strangely, I loved every bit of it.

So yes, I’m genuinely excited for this weekend. Proud of what this gathering represents, proud of the people building, creating and showing up, and very ready for the energy again.

DXB, we go again. African Marketplace is here. 🔥
See you again this weekend✨❤️✈️

I think every founder eventually has to learn this: sometimes the new season you are praying for will not begin with something new entering your hands. It begins when you finally understand what is already in them.

For a while, I kept thinking about the parable of the talents. One man had five. Another had less. Another had only one. Strangely, I have always thought there is something powerful about the man who begins with one, because abundance can make you think about preservation, but limitation forces you to think about multiplication.

How do I turn one into two? Two into four? Four into eight? And eight into sixteen?

I have felt that lesson personally this year. I have been building something incredibly audacious, something some consider delusional, and building it has required a great deal of spending, patience and conviction. There were moments when it felt as though everything going into the vision was simply disappearing into the ground, while the distance ahead remained enormous.

Recently got on a call with one of our advisor, and he told me Steph, stop Let's Look properly at what we have now, and understand how to convert it into where we are going. That sentence changed everything for us.

In the past few weeks, with a very lean team and very ordinary resources, we started asking different questions. What can we create from this land? What can we show? What story can this unfinished place already tell?

My people said, "we can into the bush again with cameras..." And so we experimented it.. We documented. And we made beauty out of what looked incomplete. And now I look through the gallery and, strangely, the journey no longer feels as far away. Infact, it makes me believe much more in where we're going.

Nothing miraculous dropped from the sky. We simply began seeing differently. Maybe that is the word for another founder today: LOOK AGAIN! LOOK AND LIVE...

There may already be something in your hand, your team, your story, your network, your experience or even your limitation that can become the bridge into your next season. Sometimes what feels like “not enough” is simply something you have not yet learnt to multiply.

At the University of Ibadan earlier this week, I spoke candidly about the future, and why the next decade may demand more intentional preparation from young people than perhaps any period before it.

Two things stayed central to my conversation: EDUCATION and BEING HUMAN.

Education must now go beyond knowing what worked. We must understand what still works, what will keep working, what is fading, and what is coming. We must develop the discipline to question deeply enough to understand not only the answers, but the WHY behind them and the direction they point towards.

But perhaps the deeper conversation was about being human.

What happens when almost everyone can afford intelligent machines? When a robot can answer our questions, execute our instructions, work longer, automate our homes and perform increasingly complex tasks at a fraction of the human cost?

At that point, we will be forced to confront a question we have rarely had to ask at scale: What, then, is the value of a human being? I believe the next decade will redefine human worth in ways we are only beginning to understand. And strangely, in a world increasingly populated by intelligent machines, BEING HUMAN may become the new gold.

So I challenged them to invest deliberately in three things:

PEOPLE. PROFICIENCIES. PLACES. The quality of your relationships. The depth of your capacity. And the environments shaping how you see the world.

Technology will keep advancing. But the greater assignment is to ensure that humanity advances with it.

Thanks to The Bezalel Team @the_bezaleelnetwork for the opportunity to be a blessing to their community.

Life has been rather full lately...

A lot of work, movements, and a lot happening behind the scenes that may not make it to the camera, the timeline or the conversation.

And sometimes, in the middle of all the building, I am learning to pause, audit myself, and ask myself honest questions that success can easily make one forget...

Am I building a life I genuinely want to live, or merely a life that looks impressive from the outside? Well, even more...

Because there is a version of success that fills your calendar, expands your network, increases your possessions and gives you more things to show the world, while quietly leaving very little of you available to enjoy any of it.

I am learning that the goal cannot just simply be to build bigger. While at it, build your spirit, build the mind, build the body, build character, faith, meaningful relationships, and the kind of inner life that does not collapse when the applause becomes quiet.

The world will always give you another target to chase.

There will always be another deal, milestone, another room, another number. But at some point, you must also become the kind of person who can sit quietly with the life you have built and genuinely be grateful to be living it.

I’m Still busy building. Still becoming. And above all, still learning to enjoy the journey too... 🤍

There is a certain elegance that only exists in rooms where everyone has something to build.

That was the atmosphere.
That was PIETRA MILIARE.

Every smile tells a story. Every conversation opened a door. Every moment reminded us that the greatest journeys are never built alone.

An evening we'll remember for years to come.

West Africa's first Snow City Park is happening. ❄️🏔️

For us, this has never been about building another development. It has always been about creating a destination that changes perceptions, creates opportunities, inspires generations, and reminds the world that Africa is capable of delivering experiences of global significance.

The official signing of our strategic partnership marks the beginning of a journey that will bring West Africa's first Snow City Park to life, right here in Nigeria.

This isn't the finish line. It's the day the future officially began. The future of African tourism is no longer a conversation. It's officially underway. ❄️
