Afrofuturism took flight at @flysfo as @sfomuseum , @afatasitheartist & @iamsumthinjazzie showcased a visionary screening + runway experience celebrating Afrofuturism in fashion.

@charlestonpierce spearheaded runway preparation and worked closesly with models @brianaj.franklin___ @shanese_campbell @amenuglobal @angvlvca @heyitstajae @documentinglegacy ensuring every step, pose, and moment conveyed a story.

As part of the Airport’s Black History Month event series, @sfomuseum hosted a stunning exhibition of hair art, fashion design and music at the Aviation Museum and Library ✈️ @afatasitheartist hosted her fifth annual “Futurism Fashion Experience” featuring a runway show of her handmade Afrofuturist designs and an exhibition of hair art by @iamsumthinjazzie with music by @djnana415 🎶✨
The show highlighted Afatasi’s latest visionary fashion creations inspired by Afrofuturist aesthetics and innovation.
