The courage to try and fight is enough to call it a victory ✌️

I chose to show up, create change, rather than criticize from the sidelines.

I knew it was a collective show-up that was needed for this movement to succeed. It was a scary decision I made on the 18th morning to travel alone to Delhi. I cried for a legit 30-40 mins while boarding the bus alone from Alibag (covertly covering my face with my scarf), after reaching Delhi faced an upset stomach (out of fear and anxiety) on the 19th night and 20th morning before I left for JM, but despite my MANY fears I chose courage to fight and show my support in presence. And later on via funds when I left Delhi.

To my fellow comrades who chose to protest, it takes a lot of courage and strength to come on-ground and fight for our own people. I am extremely blessed and grateful, I could be a part of something so big and be around similar courageous people.

I have been on a path in my life where I make my life decisions by often trying to choose courage over comfort. And there are going to be many people who can demotivate us based on their ignorance, insecurities or fears.

I would just say let's not engage with such people who just spew theories and opinions without trying to be empathetic and not choosing courage but siding with their loyalties blindly. Such are the people who have been the loudest because of their deepest insecurities and fears.

Let us not let such people bring us down or discourage our morale.
