You don’t realize how much you miss the little things until they’re right in front of you again.

A few weeks of laughter, home-cooked meals, long drives and being together.

Doctor in Tech, reporting for duty! 🛠️

My MacBook screen decided to tap out, and the repair shop hit me with an $800 bill. 😭

Absolutely not.

So, I took matters into my own hands and officially entered my DIY tech era. 😂 It wasn’t pretty, but I definitely leveled up my skills in the process.

Now, if you’ll excuse me… I have a résumé to update. 🤣💻

This week taught me something important and beautiful.

A few days ago, someone I went to Holy Child College with told me that I had been mean to her back then. I was genuinely surprised because that wasn’t how I remembered myself and it certainly wasn’t who I ever intended to be especially because she was in my close circle and i felt she had the better side of me.

Then today, someone else from that same chapter of my life sent me the message above.

Same ME but two very different experiences.

It made me realize that no matter who we are or how we show up, people will experience us differently. We can’t control every perception, but we can choose how we treat people each day.

As I’ve grown older, I’ve learned that life isn’t about being perfect or making everyone like you. It’s about being genuine, extending kindness whenever you can, taking responsibility when you fall short and continuing to grow.

Not everyone will tell the same story about you and that’s okay❤️

What matters is that your heart remains open, your intentions remain genuine and your actions continue to reflect the person you’re striving to be.

So here’s a gentle reminder: be yourself, be kind and give grace freely. You may never fully know the impact you’ve had on someone’s life, but you can always choose the kind of person you’ll be today. ❤️

Lately, one thought keeps standing out, my name, SIMILOLUWA meaning Rest on the Lord. It reminds me that God has everything under control.

Psalm 37:7a (NKJV) says, “Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him.”
To whoever needs this reminder: do your best and leave the rest to God. Don’t stress over what you can’t change. Trust Him to restore, refresh and refocus your heart and mind.

You are amazing, full of promise and destined for greatness. Rest in this truth, and don’t let anything steal your peace (Isaiah 46:4).
