Here’s my top 5 lessons I’ve learnt as a small business owner.

Running a small business is absolutely wild. There are highs, lows and everything in between! It’s all consuming, especially when it’s something you’re passionate about. And proper hard work!!

But honestly, I wouldn’t change a thing. I get to schedule my own time, I’m there for all the little things with my family and I get to do something that brings me joy. What’s not to love?!

Running this business has given me such solid foundations that have enabled me to branch out and build multiple businesses so that I am never reliant on just one income stream in this crazy economy!

Now I get to expand, grow and help other do the same.

24 weeks in, I’ve gone from complete shock, fear and wondering “HOW are we going to do this?!” to “I can’t imagine life without you!” 🥹 What a rollercoaster! 🎢

Now just send energy, snacks and a lifetime supply of caffeine… please! ☕️😂

Got any tips on going from 2 to 3 kids pop them below…. I need all the help I can get! 🙈👇🏻 by @iamterristacey

Your Netflix subscription doesn’t save up the months you don’t watch it… but your travel membership works differently 👀✈️

Think about it…
You pay for your gym every month, but if you don’t go, those unused sessions don’t usually pile up for next month.
Netflix? Same principle. If you barely watch it, that month is gone.

But here’s where your travel membership gets interesting… 👇🏼✨

Your Loyalty Points can build up over time! 💖
Depending on your membership option, your monthly payment of $120 gives you either 120 or 240 Loyalty Points a month.

And unlike those gym sessions you never used (we’ve all been there 😂), your Loyalty Points can accumulate while you’re an active member.

You can then redeem them against eligible bookings and life experiences, to help bring the price of your trip down even more!

For me, this changes how I look at a monthly membership.

Instead of seeing it as just another subscription leaving my account, I can see how it could support something I genuinely want more of in my life: travel, experiences and making memories. 🥂🌍

And the best bit? Your Loyalty Points don’t simply disappear at the end of the month, provided you remain an active member.

Tell me… are you a gym membership girlie who actually goes, or are you paying for the vibes? 😂👇🏼 by @iamterristacey

Golden retriever life…. Can’t stop, won’t stop lying in the muddiest of puddles!

My poor poor car!

Lesson learnt… always take the dog towel to the woods! 🙈 by @iamterristacey

I didn’t want another job. I wanted options…

I was fed up with always feeling like we were working so hard and still having to think about how we spend every penny. Fed up of not having the options that other families seem to have.

And honestly fed up of watching my husband work every hour under the sun in jobs he doesn’t enjoy for us to still not feel like we can live life how we want to.

So that’s why I started to build an online business. It makes sense. Fits around my family and most importantly it will give us options, breathing room and the space to actually thrive rather than just survive.

I’m 39, pregnant with our surprise baby number three and already a business owner. Life is full, messy and sometimes completely chaotic.

But I am excited to see where my online business is going to take us!

Because what we want more than anything are choices, breathing room and more time together.

I’m curious…

Does anyone else feel like they work incredibly hard, but still wish they had a little more financial breathing room? 👇🏻 by @iamterristacey

POV: You thought you were getting a dog… turns out you got a full-time sofa shadow. 😂🐾💛

Personal space? Never heard of her. 🤣

Wouldn’t have it any other way. 🥹🐶

Golden retriever people, tell me yours does this too?! 👇🏼 by @iamterristacey

One thing that caught my attention about this travel membership wasn’t just the hotel savings… 👀✈️

It was the opportunity to earn Travel Credits through eligible bookings, too.

Because let’s be honest, as a family, we’d love to travel more. 🌍

More adventures, more memories and more opportunities to show our children the world.

Normally, we book a holiday, enjoy it, and start saving all over again for the next one.

But with qualifying bookings, you can build Travel Credits towards future eligible travel to bring the price down of your next adventure.

So you’re not just looking at the cost of your next holiday, but the bigger picture of what your membership could offer over time.

And when travelling more is something you already want to do, that’s definitely worth exploring. 💖

POV: You’re becoming the “yes family” you always dreamed of being 🥹❤️🎢

A day of dinosaurs, haunted mansions, questionable rollercoaster decisions and making the kind of memories we’ll talk about for years. 🦖👻✨

We spent the day at Paultons Park and honestly, we had the BEST time!

We rode jeeps through the dinosaur safari 🦕
We practised the very important life skill of queueing patiently 😂
We captured ghosts in the haunted mansion 👻
And we discovered that we might need a little more time before we’re ready for the big rollercoasters! 🎢🤣

But one of my favourite things? Seeing the Halloween decorations in full swing. The park looked INCREDIBLE, and all the extra spooky details made everything so much more magical and interactive for the little ones. 🎃🕸️

If you’re thinking of visiting, I’d absolutely recommend going while the Halloween decorations are up!

But honestly, the best part of the day wasn’t a ride, a photo or even the Halloween magic…

It was that little feeling of realising we’re becoming the YES family we always wanted to be. 🥹❤️
The family who says yes to the day trips.
Yes to the adventures.
Yes to trying new things.
Yes to making memories, even when things get messy, plans change or someone decides a rollercoaster is a HARD NO. 😂

Because these are the moments we want more of. The experiences, the laughter, the memories our children will carry with them.

And I think that’s what this whole journey is really about… creating a life where we have more opportunities to say YES to the things that matter most. ✨

More days like this, please. 🥹❤️

Tell me… are you a YES family, or are you still learning to say yes to more adventures? 👇🏻💖 by @iamterristacey

The first thing I wanted to know? Does this membership actually save me money? 👀

Because honestly, have you SEEN the price of family holidays during the school holidays?! 😩💸

Same hotel. Same dates. Same room. Yet somehow the price makes you question whether the kids really need a holiday. 😂

So I started comparing prices through my travel membership against public booking sites.

And what I’ve found is that the membership price is usually always cheaper and often by a significant amount!

That got my attention. 👀

And when I can save on our own family holidays without having to sell a single thing? Even better! 🙌

Because I want us to travel more, experience more and spend less… not spend our entire holiday budget just getting there. ✈️💖

Mum life is realising that you can never all look at the same time! Some weeks it’s me, some weeks it’s the kids and on a rare occasion it’s the house. But this week no one is thriving, we’re all a mess! 🤪

Any one else having one of those weeks?! 👇🏻
