A great reminder of how NOT to sift your cocoa powder, to always laugh at yourself and to bake with your pops (he’s my biggest cheerleader and favorite taste tester. It doesn’t matter what I make, he always says “this is the best (fill in the blank) I’ve ever had” ❤️

Papa Tony and I found our new favorite weekend stop. Everything we’ve tried from @sweetsistersbkry has been absolutely delicious. What’s not to love about a super dreamy adorable mini bake stand filled with delectable homemade treats?! Execution is spot on, quality A+++, the cakes are wicked moist and the cookies perfectly soft. Go there. Try it. Like now. #sanjoseeats #sjeats #bayareaeats #sanjosefoodie #dadanddaughter by @iamthebakedbaker

After a long ass hiatus, Papa Tony and I are back in action! 🧁 💃 🪩

I lost my baking mojo last year after losing my mom. Then Tony was diagnosed with an aggressive prostate cancer. Life is a real f*^ker sometimes, eh? Anywho, I’m starting to get my mojo back plus Tony can definitely use some extra treats given all the fun cancer treatments bring.

Friendly PSA from Tony to all the dudes out there to get their PSA checked for prostate cancer.

I also want to thank everyone who stuck around and didn’t unfollow during my time away. I’m grateful you’re still here ❤️🙏

On that note, it’s been a minute and it’s probably a good time to re-introduce myself. Howdy! I’m Allie and I’m the Baked Baker. I get baked and bake! I also go on foodie adventures with my pops, Tony. I have a YouTube show with two episodes. The first one is too long so maybe just stick with #2 where I make my famous brownies and we learn brownie history facts from my best bud, Doug the Nug. Nice to meet you!

I want to tuck myself in between two slices of this warm cinnamon challah babka and never come out. And yes, I took it out of the pan too soon. #noregrets

Weekend update from our very own farmers market reporter, Papa Tony.

Our top story, striking multicolor farm fresh eggs brought to you by the good vibes only, free roaming happy chickens @twistedfields in San Gregorio. Tony saw them and knew he had to have them. I’ve never seen Tony get excited about eggs before. Have you ever seen such beautiful eggs?!

Like Mary Poppins, this cookie is practically perfect in every way

I don’t say this often and I don’t say this lightly…but I’m head over heels for these chewy coconut sugar cookies. They’re made with NO refined sugar, only coconut sugar! The coconut sugar gives the cookie a wonderfully deep flavor, like molasses and brown sugar. And the texture is crispy on the outside and ooey gooey on the inside. True cookie perfection.

So many high fives, fist bumps, gold stars, A++++ for this recipe from @leelalicious 👏👏👏👏 It’s a true gem and I’ll keep making it forever 🥇 🏆

I’m just a girl, standing in front of a cake, asking it to love her

This is the moistest cake I’ve ever had. The lemon was perfectly subtle and the crumb melted in your mouth. Not to mention the recipe was hella easy. Honestly, this cake was perfect and I think I want to put ricotta in everything now.
