First official smoke of the season. Smoked Picahna and smoked seasoned wings. Combo oak/hickory/maple pellets. Mustard binder then seasoned with woodfired garlic on the picahna. Assortment of seasonings on the wings. 👌👌🔥🔥 #Smokedmeat #kinders #BBQ #memorialday🇺🇸 by @iamthedon

2 4-lb Tomahawks and a 3lb bone in ribeye. Glazed in beef tallow and seasoned with pepper, oregano, and onion powder. Smoked the tomahawks for 3 hours at 225 until they reached an internal temp of 140, then rested them for an hour. Grilled the cowboy ribeye to an internal temp of 140. Seasoned them with salt, pepper & garlic seasoning and seared all 3 steaks in beef tallow on the griddle and to get a delicious crust. Vidalia onions cooked on the griddle in a homemade gorgonzola butter. More Gorgonzola butter on the steaks and topped them with the onions. Served with garlic mashed potatoes, rice pilaf, and corn on the cob. 😋

Impromptu smoker day. Ribs heavily seasoned and smoked for 3 hours uncovered, doused in honey and wrapped in foil and back in the smoker for 2 hours, then pulled out, smothered in hickory BBQ sauce and finished on the grill. Chicken marinated in jerk seasoning, smoked 1 hour, the finished on the griddle to seal in the flavor. Asparagus drizzled in extra virgin olive oil, dusted with garlic salt and garlic flakes, then sprinkled with parmesan cheese and grilled. White rice cooked on the stove to in a beef broth to give it a little flavor. 👌😚 #smokerseason #smokemeat #smokedmeat #flavortown #smoker #promaja #coolina #bbq #bbqribs #smokeribs #smokedchicken #bbqchicken #jerkchicken #bbqseason by @iamthedon

Dad, I don't have many photos of us because you hated taking pictures, and I'll regret that for the rest of my life. You weren't just the best father I could ask for. You were my best friend. You'd call just to talk nonsense at all hours or to ask if I needed anything or to ask if you could talk to the girls. You loved so deeply and unconditionally. I'll never recover from this. I just hope you know that the love you gave us was returned 10-fold. No one deserves greater peace than you. Now I'm stuck missing you every day for the rest of my life, and that doesn't seem fair. I love you so very, very much, dad. Rest now. 💔💔💔 by @iamthedon
