A cocktail that is meant to showcase not only balance and quality ingredients but also evolution. Everytime you have one the nuances will be different. Using the solera method the age statement in the barrel is constantly evolving. Bittersweet, with a slight smoke, with a hint of coconut and aged in oak. The perfect cocktail to help you tell tonight's story. Happy adoptaversary to both of these special girls. Four years @the_dead_dont_scream and I brought home Honey and 3 years later to the day Praia joined our little family. They both have such big personalities and are filled with nothing but love. Life is definitely better with them in it #pets #catsanddogsofinstagram by @iamtherealponyboy
Saturdays are for the Bols Just because a recipe is simple doesn't mean a drink can't be complex. So often we get caught up in the idea of reinventing the wheel that we forget that simplicity can be beautiful. The Bols Genever, Ginger Liqueur and Beet Cordial create an overly tart cocktail, balanced with a Green Tea and Blue Curaçao foam. 1.5oz Bols Genever 0.75oz Bols Ginger Liqueur 1.5oz Beet Cordial Top with Green Tea and Blue Curaçao Foam #cocktail #cocktailsofinstagram #bartending by @iamtherealponyboy

One year ago today I woke up to see that we had lost this angel. To anyone who ever met Nessa you knew how special she was. Once you were her people she loved with everything. Not a day goes by I don't miss our bedtime routine. She would climb into the bed and ask for pets, and then take a few steps wanting me to follow her. Finally she would lay down and wrap her hind legs around my are while a rubbed her belly, and she would fall asleep. I still remember the one night one of the dogs was in the bed when she jumped up. She meowed like she did and stormed away mad and refused to cuddle for 2 weeks because she was mad at me. The night she passed away we put her to bed in one of her favorite spots, the shelf we kept our towels. We had put a camera there so we could check up on her periodically. Just before I went to bed I checked on her and I accidentally saved this video. Not only did I lose a beloved pet that day but @the_dead_dont_scream lost her soul mate l, and Zeke and Bellamy lost their best friend. by @iamtherealponyboy
High-school's a lot like prison, bad food, high fences. The sex you want you ain't getting, the sex you're getting, you don't want. @djqualls @the_dead_dont_scream #thenewguy by @iamtherealponyboy
They say a picture says 1000 words, but this one only says 8. "The fuck did you just say to me?" #rottiepoo #dogsofinstagram by @iamtherealponyboy
"But still we'll say remember when, Just like we always do." Finally got to see @storyoftheyear live last night. It was without a doubt, the greatest night of music I have ever experienced. They have an unparalleled stage presence and connection to their fans. The only thing that could have made this night better is if during the meet and greet I had an extra minute to discuss Star Wars with @adamtheskull. Also @danmarsala is 100% golden retriever energy when meeting and interacting with the fans, further cementing them as my favourite band of all time. @jesse.gettis let's do it again sometime. #livemusic #emosnotdead #screamo by @iamtherealponyboy
Ashes of Autumn. A tribute to the flavours of Autumn. With a mixture of maple, apple, coffee and of course @stremybrandy_canada Ashes of Autumn is the perfect cool weather cocktail. Brandy is in the beginning of a Renaissance in the cocktail world. Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, brandy is about to have a comeback. #stremycocktailcompetition by @iamtherealponyboy
My entry for the #patronpicantecanada competition My Heart is in Jalisco. Food and beverage is a universal language. No matter the language barrier, or cultural divide, people have always shown hospitality and respect through the food and drink that we share. It's a way we tell our stories. When visiting a new place, what I am most excited about is the local cuisine. 1.5oz @patron Reposado 0.5oz Orange Liqueur 0.5oz Ancho Reyes Verde 0.75oz Salsa Verde Syrup 1.0oz Lime 2 Dashes Firewater Tincture Tajin Rim Salsa Verde Syruo 30 Tomatillo Half Large Can Peaches and Cream Corn 6 Seranno Peppers Roast for 20 minutes at 350 degrees Blend with 10 grams cilantro Add 5oz Wheat Beer Strain Mix with equal parts Agave Nectar by @iamtherealponyboy
Today Bellamy turns 6. He may be an asshole, but he's my asshole. #puppy #dogsofinstagram #happybirthday by @iamtherealponyboy
