This one has been requested a lot over the years and we have listened: pre-orders for Night Drive (Instrumental edition) on vinyl are now live. But be quick!

I'm so happy to be partnering again with @timeslaverecordings on this one.

RIP legend! Thank you for all you did for music. 😥

Kavinsky's Nightcall was the song that triggered my love for synthwave after seeing/hearing it in Drive (2011).

Around that time i was about to give up on music, because my life was too busy with work, friends and family and training for mountainbike races. And because i felt my music wasn't really going anywhere i thought about stopping. But after seeing Drive it all changed.

Although i listened to synthwave before i saw the movie (thanks to @lecastlevania), after hearing Nightcall in combination with the aesthetics of the movie i fell in love with the genre.

So i decided to give making music one more chance and did some experiments with synthwave. That's when Timecop1983 was born.

I am very grateful for what Kavinsky did for the genre. I know he tried to avoid the label synthwave, but he was a huge influence for the genre and to my music. Rest in peace legend! by @iamtimecop1983

Somewhere in the static...

Though the circuit board erased
Flashes of memory still remain
In the static

In between the ones and zeros
You will find me if you let go
In the static

This is one of my favorite songs i made. Always great to work with @themidnightofficial

Restless hour on a lonely street
I do this every night cause I can hardly sleep
I drive alone to nowhere, slow,
I'm searching for the parts of me I know you stole by @iamtimecop1983
