The start of this year has been eventful, to say the least. As a young organisation, we absolutely welcome this growth….and as you know, with growth comes many lessons!

If your in a growth period with your own business, you might resonate with some of our lessons from the start of this year:

〰️ Balance is a myth when you’re building:
This cuts against the popular “work-life balance” narrative.
Someone on our team shared how they used to believe balance was possible - because that’s what we see others show online

But when you’re building, honestly, balance isn’t really an option.

You have to go all in and if you’re going to do it, do it!

〰️ Understanding each other:
Working flat-out with the same small group across multiple projects taught us how we each work as individuals - our strengths, weaknesses, friction points, communication styles.

Learning to hold space for that, and to quietly cover for each other, was as important as any project skill.

〰️ Perspective from others:
Meeting people from completely different parts of the country, like rural KZN for example - gave us a kind of exposure and perspective that’s hard to get any other way.

It reinforced something we believe at the core of everything we do……

behind every platform
every service
every solution
is people development

We’re in the business of people 🖤

Would we do it again? YES! Without hesitation!

Last night was one for the books 🎬✨ @blackburnsfast was absolutely amazing! I loved the storytelling, the creativity, and how beautifully the story came together.

The storyline was so relatable and honestly had me invested from beginning to end. Even as a heterosexual woman, I really enjoyed the film and appreciated the way it explored love, relationships and human connection. ❤️
