POSTS STORIES REELS

My tattoo studio is officially OPEN! ❤️ @needlenerdsg. Located at B1-44, Golden Mile Tower.

This isn't my only business, but it's the first one I've built completely from scratch. So if I'm being honest... I'm feeling pretty emotional writing this.

After a painful 2024, I never imagined I'd be here today. But the universe has its own way of working—one we don't always understand. Somehow, through all the pain, it still led me here.

It all started with an idea. I shared my vision with my tattoo artist, and he believed in it enough to say yes. I then roped in someone I see as family, and today, the three of us are an incredible team.

I may lead with the vision and direction, but Needle Nerd wouldn't exist without my crew. They believed in the dream as much as I did, and together we've turned it into something real. Thank you, my crew. ❤️

Building this studio meant months of planning, renovations, problem-solving, and countless sleepless nights (the World Cup definitely didn't help). But standing here today, seeing an idea become reality with my designs on the walls, banners, storefront, it's a feeling I can't put into words.

I'm also not asking you to support Needle Nerd simply because you know me. Support us because you believe in the work. I would never put my name behind an artist I don't trust. Jerd Martinez has spent over 10 years perfecting his craft and running his own tattoo studio in the Philippines, and I genuinely can't wait for you to experience his artistry.

We've also rolled out some solid launch promotions as our way of saying thank you for believing in us.

The only thing missing today is my main man.

My inner circle knows the first person I'd always call to share good news was my Daddy. I miss celebrating moments like this with him, seeing the pride on his face, and hearing his encouragement.

Daddy... this one's for you ❤️🕊️

We're ready for you.

Bookings are now open.
Let's make some art. ✨

1 month late in revealing her, but here she is — meet Blue-Bee. New ride, new adventure, new memories ❤️

My biggest heartpain is knowing my Dad will never get to see my car or drive it. He used to drive a Civic back in his younger days — and now, it’s my turn. Like Daddy, like Daughter.

Special thanks to @shaan_rekha, Govan @rkonestopautohub , for the sweetest surprise: a photo of my Dad and baby me on my car screen. It made me emotional, but beyond the tears, it feels like he’s right here with me — journeying side by side on every ride.

Reddie will always hold a special place in my heart. But here I am, stepping into a new chapter and making fresh memories with Blue-Bee ❤️🧿

16 November 2024 – I love you forever, Daddy ❤️

I’m writing this with both deep pain and heartfelt joy as I reflect on the incredible man my Dad was, the struggles he endured, and the beautiful memories we shared. by @iamvithiya

Today marks ONE MONTH since I last walked and 20 DAYS since my surgery - ACL Reconstruction (using my own hamstring graft) and a Meniscus Repair with 10 stitches.

I got the shock of my life when I saw my MRI – I literally didn’t have an ACL. It literally shredded and dissolved. My knee snapped in the early hours of 3rd Oct, resulting in a severe bucket-handle Meniscus tear where a fragment of it flipped and lodged itself right in the centre of where my ACL was supposed to be, essentially locking my knee.

Honestly, I still cannot believe I participated in so many intense physical activities — playing various sports, gym-med, ran 10KM races and half marathons, danced in competitions and so much more without a freaking ACL! Holy shit.

This whole ordeal started because a bitch deliberately crashed into my knee during a floorball game to stop me from scoring goals. To this day, she has never apologised or taken responsibility—passing off a selfish, reckless act as "defense." Only I know the physical pain, the tears, the sacrifices, the holding back and humiliation of living with a knee that had limitations.

BUT, if I could actively play sports, gym, run marathons, dance and etc without an ACL, I'm damn sure I will strive to hit my pre-injury form with a newly reconstructed ACL using my very own hamstring graft.

It's easy to sound positive, but ACL-ers know that real recovery is more of a mental battle than the physical one. Relearning how to walk again, regaining full range of motion, rebuilding strength and eventually passing those strength tests will take time, patience and A LOT of hard work.

I'm going into this journey with humility and endurance. I may be in the trenches now, but I know I won't remain here. DOWN, BUT NOT DEFEATED.

Here's a 2-minute-ish video of my journey thus far.

To everyone who visited me in the hospital and at home, and to those who keep checking in on me — THANK YOU. Your love and support mean more than you know ❤️🙏

Obrigado, my CR7 ❤️

Thank God I don’t have to support a shambolic team like @portugal ever again. Perhaps the only other time I might is if my CR7 Junior plays—though I hope he chooses a different national team altogether.

Haters whose heads my CR7 lives rent-free in will argue that Portugal doesn't respect him because of his "arrogance." Let’s be real la, I would also ‘angkat’ or pledge my life to a player who gets favours dished out on a platter if it meant winning medals. But if you genuinely think there was no corruption, favouritism or politics involved, I don’t know what rock you’re living under. That being said, any other football-loving nation knows how to treat their legends with actual respect. It’s no surprise Portugal won zero major titles before him—they were never a world-class powerhouse even with the likes of Eusébio, Figo, or Deco. My CR7 put them on the map, and yet they treat him like this. He announced his retirement, and you brought him back with promises — only to break them.

Since the haters claim that my CR7 held Portugal back, sure. I am definitely keen to see how many major titles, especially a World Cup trophy this super-duper World Class team is going to win now. *Grabs popcorn*.

My CR7’s life was never easy. His greatness wasn't just handed to him on a silver platter; he sculpted himself into the best in the world with the odds stacked against him—and he became the undisputed GOAT. Life isn't fair, and some get handed privileges others can only dream of. But with self-belief, relentless hard work, and sheer determination, we can also reach the pinnacles like CR7 showed. Thank you for inspiring generations upon generations, my CR7. You might not have a World Cup trophy because the cards were always stacked against you, but you can hold your head high in ultimate pride ❤️.

No cheating.
No easy path.
No shortcuts.
Just relentless work, belief and determination.

The greatest there was.
The greatest there is.
The greatest there ever will be.

MY CR7, MY GOAT 🐐❤️🔥. SIUUUUUU!

15 years of Anirudh, but people close to me will know that this will always be MY SPECIAL SONG ❤️❤️

Throwback to my journalist days, when I attended the SIIMA Awards press meet and met Anirudh, alongside Rana Daggubati and Shruti Haasan.

This will forever remain one of my most memorable press meets, thanks to the hilarious little moments between Anirudh and me — him calling out my name in his booming voice, me accidentally distracting him, and us clicking so many pictures while my camera crew was getting ready 😂

That's the thing about Anirudh. Beyond the incredible talent and stardom, he's just one of us — a genuinely fun, down-to-earth guy whose humility makes him even more endearing ❤️❤️.

MY THALAPATHY ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Last night was just so magical! I STILL cannot get over MY THALAPATHY’s little run towards AK. MY FREAKING HEART! OMG 😍😍😍

I would never have imagined a moment like this — not even in a movie. Both of them taking different paths, yet coming together like that was totally out of syllabus. Definitely the universe’s magic. It was always THALA-THALAPATHY sia ❤️

Saving this here because witnessing this legendary moment at the Michelin Le Mans Cup at Silverstone Circuit was truly a once-in-a-lifetime moment. Nothing short of magic ❤️💫

Me in the 80s… but with A LOT of hair. 😂

Nice hair but how to rock this hairdo in this Singaporean weather sia? 😂

A true Urban Gethu 🔥

So glad I got to witness @yogibsees & @kavithaigundar dazzle the stage last night.

And honestly, their humility makes it even more admirable. It’s often the ones with real talent, years of hard work and genuine passion who remain the most humble ❤️.

Yogi B and Natchatra are the founding fathers of modern Tamil hip-hop - they revolutionised the genre, broke new ground, and laid the foundation for generations of Tamil hip-hop artists to come. True legends 🙌🏽🔥
