Recap from @afrikicks .. AFRIKICKS is a small charity with a big heart, founded by Omar from Niger, who himself had no shoes as a kid, and now is an entrepreneur in Los Angeles.
AFRIKICKS mission is to provide relief to men, women, and children who suffer from extreme poverty globally by collecting new and gently worn shoes from our supporters in the United States.
One of the most important ways to prevent disease is by protecting the soles of your feet with shoes. Something we all take for granted.
AFRIKICKS sends crates of shoes for the children in Africa who have none.
There are no big salaries. No big overheads. The raised funds go toward this years mission trip to hand deliver shoes to children in Africa and Belize!

🚨Economic trauma is an underlining issue in our community and conversations about money don’t happen enough. But let’s change that.

The problem. The education. The pivot.

No more struggling in silence. No more generational cycles of poverty. We are not waiting for a seat at someone else’s table. It starts with us. ✊🏾
