I am so incredibly glad to announce that I am officially a writer @deedsmagazine .

It’s surreal. Honestly, it's surreal. It’s a movie. It’s a movie.

For my very first feature, I had the beautiful opportunity to unpack @akuviofficial ’s new project, Afrobeats for Emotional Gangsters. A project that reminded me that crying and dancing can exist in the exact same breath. That feeling is healing. That being emotional and admitting it is the most gangster thing you can do.

Grateful for the opportunity to keep on keeping on. The first of many. As my brother @_nyambi would say, Your dreams are valid!! by @iamzimiso

The Archive: Known Unknown is an ongoing project that examines the incomplete archive of Black legacy, figures who are widely recognized, yet insufficiently documented. It confronts the gap between presence and record, where influence exists without preservation.

The issue treats absence as evidence of neglect, of systemic omission, of histories not formally secured. Through this lens, it documents artists, thinkers, and cultural figures whose impact is felt, but not fully recorded.

I am actively taking written pieces from writers on their figures of choice, to include as editorial for the Issue. by @iamzimiso

For My @gqsouthafrica cover mockup , I couldn't think of an artist who's had an impact better than @asakefp over the years in my perspective. Mr Money has redefined what creativity is. Pushing genres forward by breaking boundaries effortlessly. And to me, that's greatness. #MANOFTHEYEAR by @iamzimiso
