Finally some success after a rough season. Started in the mid-pack in a field of 105 riders, was able to get 45 passes. Excited for freshmen season and @quickndirtymtb summer series 🔜

“Went into this race with one goal: have as much fun as possible. After hating racing all of last season and the beginning of this season, i realized i needed to just have fun with the final middle school season.Performance was meh, but tons of fun hanging with my friends.” - the big @gl_performance_
overall not a bad race happy to get back in to after the concussion and hope the knee heals up before @socalleague championships taken in Vailocity Bike Park by @ian__chee

@socalleague vail 2 p38/45 🫠 worst race of the career so far, ended with a concussion and a left knee that can’t be bent. was somewhere in the top 15 before the crash. Hope to heal up and have some awesome @chee_ian_productions pictures at keysville
@mikeheckyhecker didn’t hear you talk to me when I walked across finish, but yes I am okay now

@socalleague round 3 cachuma p31/43
“sometimes there’s good days and there’s bad days, and sometimes there’s days you think are good but not” stared last row and was able to pick my way up to the top 15 by the end of the firs lap, made some great pulls. near the end of the first lap i accidentally went the wrong way and cut the course 😢 got hit with 5 minute penalty. didn’t know it happend until after the race 🫠. start of second lap was in top 10. also made some great pulls. at the road of the second lap went for a attack but couldn’t quite hold it. blew up mid attack and caught a cramp. overall good race and feel super strong just hope to not get any more penalties. p9/43 before penalty

“The lion learned how to wear bibs correctly but is still going to wear them his way “ @socalleague 2 vail p12/47 might be one of the best races i ever had. warm up went well, was mentally there and legs were feeling stronger than ever . start loop was awesome had some amazing conversations with other people. hope to carry the momentum to cachuma and stand on the podium there. great day, lots of signatures got and lots of lactate.

@socalleague 1 lake perris p23/45
sometimes it’s good to reflect and think about what happened. this race didn’t go the way i wanted. staged 2nd row and only got 23rd. mentally wasn’t there, didn’t push hard enough and didn’t dig deep through the pain. but when you reflect you also need to think about the good, was barely able to get a top 50%. it was a good learning experience, knowing that i need to be able to lactate mid race and take more carbs mid race. hope to keep my head up and do better at vail soon. thanks to @carson_bagley01 @baileyywatkinss and chee ian for helping learn how to lactate video credits to @rachaelracing2 for printing out chee ian taken in Lake Perris State Recreation Area by @ian__chee
