A highlight reel from our last two weeks traveling to Boston/Hingham + Niagara Falls 💛 Such sweet time as a family and with friends and teammates. Not pictured are the tantrums, overtired tears, arguments from too much time in a car together and sugar crashes. Thankful every single day for freedom. Freedom that Jesus died on the cross to give us, and freedom that men and women die to protect for us. It’s a beautiful life because of them. ❤️🤍💙

Gosh what a special day. When Ian and I were dating we played 20 questions and one question we asked each other was what would we name a boy if we had one? We both said Noah. 🤯 (fate sealed) The reason I always loved that name was because I remember reading the story about Noah’s ark when I was younger and being so impressed by the faith and obedience of Noah, that I wanted a son who had those qualities. And if you know Noah, you know that those things are part of who he is already.

Listening to his testimony that he wrote just absolutely wrecked me. I prayed for years over, and agonized over, what he was going through and felt like if the Lord didn’t heal him like we all had been asking Him to, that Noah would lose faith. But to hear him say today that that was actually the thing he was thankful to God for….😭 It is so difficult as parents to watch our children struggle. But with the Lord, He can redeem it for a part of their testimony. Years ago, a friend shared with me the verse about the Lord redeeming the years that the locusts ate and today was a full circle moment where I felt like He was doing that.

There is truly no joy like watching your children grow in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. I am thankful everyday for it. And today we celebrate Noah’s public proclamation of the faith he has quietly been fostering in his own heart since he could talk and ask questions, ultimately leading to his salvation. And this day could only be made more special by having Uncle John, someone who has been so influential in mine and @ian_harris lives since the day we met him, baptize him. Thank You Jesus!! 😭🌈❤️

The verse I have prayed over Noah his whole life and will continue to is:
Genesis 6:22
“Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he.“

Happy TENTH Anniversary Becca! It truly feels like we’ve fit 25 years of marriage, memories, and life lessons into a decade 😂

It has been (and will continue to be 😏) an honor and privilege to wake up beside you each morning as your husband. You truly are my best friend, my teammate, my encouragement, my support, my mirror (!!!) and so much more.

You’ve blossomed as a mom of FOUR incredible babies. You’ve navigated the complexities of raising three babies close in age, only to find yourself navigating the complexities of homeschooling three young kids while caring for a newborn. Truly a testament to the woman you are, and one piece of who God has called you to be.

I’ve had the opportunity to see you wear so many hats throughout these ten years. Of course the most relatable are that of wife and mom, but I’ve also been given the window to seeing you as a supportive sister, a caring daughter, a thoughtful granddaughter, an intentional friend, and a gifted writer (plz write the book).

You are the best part of my day, every day, and I’m grateful for your example of Christ’s love in my life.

I am forever indebted to God that He allowed me to be your husband, and love you for a lifetime.

4!! The month of firsts. First sleep regression 😴, first sickness, first Christmas, first New Years, first roll, and first Bills playoff loss 💔. He loves to play with his feet and chew on his hands. I mean who has time to sleep with all of this going on!! But he’s also the smiliest baby ever, loves to laugh at his mommy and siblings, and “watch” sports with daddy and big brother. I’ve never slept less and I’ve never cared less. The beauty of a 4th baby. I’ll snuggle you all hours of the day + night with joy, Luke Joshua. 💛

On a real note month 4 is also the month I started losing all my hair. The good with the bad yall. 😆💇🏻‍♀️ by @ian_harris
