Awe and WonderI’m pleased to announce that this artwork is now for sale, mounted and framed at The Nest in New Romney, Kent. It’s A3 size.A personal favourite of mine, it was inspired by the wonders of the natural environment where I live, including my garden. Nature is truly astonishing as it adapts and survives through many harsh and traumatic conditions. IN BRUGESI recently visited the magnificent city of Bruges in Belgium. I loved all the canals, cobbled streets and medieval architecture. Such a feast for my eyes. I was especially taken by all the street ornaments and furniture made of wrought iron and gold plaiting. This artwork is based on some photos I took of objects I observed. Face The BeautyThis is one of my personal favourite artworks. I’ve finally mounted and framed the original and it’s now FOR SALE at The Nest, New Romney, Kent. (A3 size).It’s one of many of my abstract artworks inspired by some of my favourite surrealists. Sweet and FruityWhen I created this artwork, I had been studying the art of the intriguing Bauhaus movement from Germany. The abstract art of Wassily Kandinsky remains a huge influence on my art. Art that comes from the imagination and inside the head inspires me so much.For this piece I used watercolours, coloured pencils, black and acrylic pens, as well as some metallic paint. Animal NightlifeI’ve had a long break from making art as life has been busy and I’ve been searching for new ideas. This artwork is a little different for me and it incorporates my love of surreal art and quirky characters. I’ve never been an artist who wants to make a realistic copy of what I see in front of me.
