5 reasons I’m obsessed with doing anime & video game tattoos (and why they’re worth it):
1. You’re not picking something off a wall - you’re choosing characters and stories that actually shaped you. That makes the whole process way more meaningful for both of us.
2. I get to build the design around your anatomy so it fits your arm/leg/back, flows with the muscles, and still reads clean years from now.
3. I take a lot of pride in this work. If my name is attached to it, I want it to feel like a badass piece of key art, not a rushed screenshot slapped on skin.
4. Healed pics are my favorite part - seeing the tattoo settled in, you healed up, and still proud to show it off tells me we did it right.
5. These pieces end up pulling the right people into your life. Other nerds spot it, you trade stories, and suddenly your tattoo is how you met your new favorite humans.
If you were going to get one anime or video game tattoo that actually meant something to you, what would it be and where would you put it? 🙏❤️‍🔥 taken in Fontana, California by @iananimetats

This is what happens when you give your artist an idea and let them COOK. 🔥🎮

My client wanted a Flareon tattoo dedicated to his sister, Hope. Beyond that, he gave me complete creative freedom.

So I took some Pokémon nostalgia, threw in a Game Boy Color, had Flareon bursting through the screen with some 8-bit fire, and worked his sister’s name right into the console. 👀❤️‍🔥

One of my favorite things about tattooing is taking an idea that’s meaningful to somebody and turning it into something completely unique to them.

Another addition to an ongoing Nintendo sleeve, and we’re nowhere near done cookin! 🔥

Power isn’t always a gift. Sometimes it’s a curse. ⚡️

From an innocent kid to an unstoppable force of destruction.

My client wanted to capture three stages of Broly’s transformation in one tattoo. Three versions of his favorite character, all brought together on his inner arm.

The challenge was making them feel like one cohesive piece rather than three separate images.

I used broken edge manga panels, splatter effects, and lightning to connect each stage while letting Broly’s final transformation dominate the composition.

This is what I love about anime tattoos. Taking the characters and stories people connect with and finding a way to bring them to life on skin.

What anime character deserves this kind of treatment? 👀🔥

Sometimes destruction is necessary to make room for something greater. 💜

My client connected with Beerus for more than just his power. To him, the God of Destruction represents the idea that sometimes you have to tear something down before you can build something better.

He gave me creative freedom to bring his favorite character to life, with one request: that signature purple aura.

I wanted to capture that quiet, intimidating kind of power Beerus carries. No need for a dramatic battle pose when you can destroy everything with the flick of a finger. 👀

Always grateful when someone trusts me to bring their vision to life through my own artistic interpretation.

What’s an anime character that represents something deeper to you? 🔥

Any excuse to tattoo Zelda and I’m fuckin there 😂🔥 Skull Kid’s story gave me way too much to work with to just slap something on an arm. Being able to work the old tattoos into the composition and turn them into something completely new made this one even better.
I need more Zelda projects in my chair 👀🌙

Light & Ryuk - Death Note

Wanted to watch an episode or two to get a feel for the characters before I started designing, ended up 10 episodes deep before I knew it 😂 Great show and had a great deal of fun coming up with this design, looking forward to adding misa to this sleeve! ❤️‍🔥🙏 what’s your favorite anime that got you locked in? I’d love to turn it into a dope tattoo for you! 🫶🔥 taken in Fontana, California by @iananimetats

Your favorite character deserves more than just being copied off a screenshot 👀🔥
This was my client’s first piece with me AND my first time getting to tattoo One Piece, so you already know I had to cook 😂🔥
We went with Gear 5 Luffy and built the whole piece around that wild ass energy, big expression, movement, crazy color and enough contrast to make sure everything still reads clean from across the room.
That’s always the goal with these anime pieces. Take a character you already love and turn them into something that actually feels like it was made to live on your body. 🤝🔥
If you’ve been wanting a One Piece tattoo, send me your character & where you’re thinking about putting it 👀🏴‍☠️
I definitely need more of these 😂❤️‍🔥 taken in Fontana, California by @iananimetats

If you’re new here, welcome 🤙
I’m Ian, known for bigger anime and video game pieces.
I love taking characters, scenes, and ideas people love and turning them into custom tattoos that fit the body, read clearly, and still look good years down the road.
These are a few tattoos I’ve done recently that honestly made me jealous I couldn’t wear them myself 🔥
I love working with people who see their tattoos as a way to carry the stories, characters, and games that mean something to them.
If that sounds like you, welcome to the page 🔥

Gotta sit like a Titan if you wanna wear one.
This Attack on Titan piece came fuckin out sick, this was a fun one to bring to life. 🔥🔥🔥
Big, bold, and designed to fit my clients arm properly so Eren Yeager stays readable and holds up long-term.
My client’s reaction made it even better 🙏
If you’re into anime or video games and want a larger character piece of your own, DM me with the character and placement you’re thinking about. I’ll give you a straight answer on the size and sessions it would take. ❤️‍🔥🤙 taken in Fontana, California by @iananimetats
